Jonathan's POV

"Marcus!" I called to my future Beta.

"Yeah man?" He said pushing out of the group of girls that must of ambushed him. "Did you find her?" He asked with serious eyes.

"Let's go on a walk." I told him. We walked away from the party and when we got near the back of the backyard I decided to just spill it.

I tried to take as much time as possible but I couldn't.

"C'mon man just tell me. I don't want to have to search your thoughts." He said calmly.

"Man your not gonna like this." I said under my voice. Even though I knew no humans could hear us I didn't want to risk a Wolf listening into our conversation.

Marcus's face went livid. His features looked hard as stone. He didn't have to guess who it is or search my thoughts he was pissed.

Marcus's POV

Anger and rage fumed inside me. "No. You wouldn't do that to me. You wouldn't would you?" I asked him seriously.

"Its not something i can control you of ALL people would know that! Its like you and Sarah when you turned 18! I'm screwed and stuck with her whether I want to or not."

I didn't have to think about it that last sentence definitely sounded like an insult.

Apparently he didn't need to read my thoughts cause it was written all over my face. "That came out wrong! I didn't mean it like that. I mean whether I want it or not I'm screwed cause your going to be pissed at me."

"I'm not pissed. Well I am now. cause I can tell that you knew it was her when I asked you! An hour ago John!"

"OK! In my defense I didn't know it was her! I only saw her from behind! I could smell her thats how I knew it was her!" He exclaimed.

"And still your just telling me this now?" Me as angry ever.

"Well I'm sorry there isn't really a good time to tell your best friend that his sister is the one your gonna spend the rest of your life with!" He said manning up and holding his ground.

"And right now I don't feel like that'll be a long time cause I feel like ripping your throat out right now Jonathan."

Jonathan's POV

I'm in really deep here. Marcus has never ever ever called me anything but John. And now he's pissed at me and is calling me by my whole name, That's when I knew I was screwed.

Marcus took a deep breath and hid his wolf eyes and brought out his smooth calming ones. "Go."

"What?" I asked in disbelief. Is he really this mad at me? "What do you mean Marcus?"

"Go. Tell Rose." He looked at the ground and then looked back up at me standing there like an Idiot. "Now!" He barked at me. "Before I change my mind and kill you right here!"

Alek's POV

I was standing in the back yard watching the fireworks when I saw John. "Hey. Found her?" I asked my older brother.

"I'm about to go talk to her." He said bounding off. And then I saw the two girls he was walking to. And rage built up in me. Please be Rose! Please be Rose! Please be Rose! Please be Rose! It couldn't be Carter! She's the one I'm here for!

But I let out a sigh of relief when he angled him self toward Rose. Oh thank god! I thought.

Rose's.POV

"So what was John talking to you about?" My best friend Carter asked me.

"Nothing. Really I think he just came outside to get away from those girls and got stuck with me."

"You sure it wasn't anything else?" She asked smiling at me.

"God Carter its all about finding a mate and love with you isn't it? Today is John's and someone else's special day. Can't we just celebrate and Watch the fireworks?"

Carter eyed me suspiciously. "Ok." She said in defeat. We watched flurrys of color sweep across the sky. "Look shooting star! Make a wish Rose." Carter said pointing at the sky.

I wish I fin my mate very soon... I thought. "Umm... I wish that Jonathan wasn't walking towards us." I said standing up. "Jonathan. Hi!' I wiped the wet grass off my butt. He stopped right in front of me. "What's up."

He looked aound anxiously then looked at me. He pulled on my shirt and I stumbled into him. And he embraced me with a kiss.
