I walk into third period tardy with all eyes looking at me in the door way.
"Ms.y/l/n your tardy"
"Yeah I know Mr.mikeman"I said walking to my seat.
"Don't let it happen again ms.y/l/n"
"Can't mark my word for it.no promises."and with that he continued to teach.
"Why are you late?"Austin whispered to me not even paying attention (no surprise)
"I got caught up doing some stuff,okay.no big deal"
"Sure.'caught doing some stuff'.what is that code for hanging with Kalin?"
"No it just doesn't mean anything"I said starting to get aggravated.
"Oh come on.do you really think I'm gonna fall for that?somethings up.I know it.and I know you know it too"
"I kissed Jake okay!"I finally blurted out in a whisper. Austin was silent.
"I was walking to third period when he stopped me in the hallway cause he wanted to talk.then he kissed me and walked away.I called out his name,ran up to him,and kissed him back.there.know you know the truth of why I was late"I spoke.
"Why'd you kiss him?"
"Because he has always been there for me when I needed him most and I got caught up in the moment"
"Wow.you kissed me and Jake?I can just imagine what'll happen if Kalin found out."
"Look.you can't tell anyone about that kiss.if you tell Ciara and Maddie,they'll tell Kalin and he'll never forgive me for it."
"Well did you ever tell him about our kiss?"
"Yeah I told him and he said he wasn't mad because he kissed someone while he was on tour too.if I,you,or anyone tells him I kissed Jake,he's gonna think I cheated on him"
"He didn't the first time"
"That's because he knew it was an accident.look you can not tell anyone about the kiss between me and Jake,okay?"
"Yeah okay"
"Promise me Austin"I said a little more sternly so he knows I'm serious about this.
"I promise"
"Thank you"
I really hope he keeps his word.because I can't lose Kalin over a stupid mistake.I can't.I won't.
