I woke up early the next day so I could use the bathroom to get ready without any interruptions from the boys, I sighed as I put on my mascara and I sighed looking at my hair up it's high ponytail I took down and decided to straighten today. I should semi nice for the concert today. I wore an olive jacket, and a short charcoal colored dress with thigh black socks and Doc Martens. I walked out of the bathroom to be met with a Tyler looking frantically down at my cellphone reading the texts Aaron had sent me earlier that day.
"Tyler," I began.
He cut me off, "How could he send this to you, Lynn?"
"Tyler, it's nothing,"
He cut me off for a second time, "Lyndsey, this isn't nothing he's being a jerk to you." I sighed, Tyler was right but I didn't want to argue with him either I didn't have a rebuttal for his argument.
"I know it's just...it's just I enjoy his company then he thinks that we should be together his we have fun together." I said.
Tyler wrapped him arms around me, "Sometimes you have to let go of people you enjoy." Tyler was right but I didn't think what happen like this and with Aaron. Tyler and I went downstairs to go get breakfast, he texted everyone to come and meet us downstairs for the breakfast. I watched everyone come and stairs and Talia wasn't shy to begin to flirt with Tyler when she came down, I felt jealous.
No, Lynn, he's Josh's best friend. You had your chance now let someone enjoy there chance.
"Ain't that right, Lynn?" Tyler asked me snapping out of my thoughts.
"Huh?" I said, looking at Tyler and Talia who were sitting to close for comfort. Talia gave me a dirty look, maybe Talia wasn't hat nice after all. "I mean yeah, totes" I said.
"What are you doing on this tour?" Talia asked. "Merch or what?"
"Lynn's actually our photographer," Tyler said. "She takes the best pictures I've seen."
"Really maybe I should get you to take some of our band photos some time," Talia said. "Are you like the next Adam Elmakias? Jeremy Saffer?"
"I don't know," I said sheepishly. Tyler gave me a bizarre, Josh asked me if we could talk I got up and followed him away from everyone.
"Are you okay, Lyndsey?" He asked me.
"I'm fine, I'm just tired." I said.
"You seem like somethings bothering you, Lyndsey," Josh was persistent. I sighed I told Josh it was nothing and joined the group. Josh was oblivious I was thankful for that.
We went back the hotel rooms, Josh and their manager helped Josh take down my camera gear down since I did decide to mess around with the new Canon I got for this tour. Tyler caught up with me,
"So you and Talia, huh?" I said. "How long have you two been dating?"
"So you...uh...you figured out didn't know if you would figure it out." Tyler said.
"Yeah," I said. "I know, we're just friends."
"Good girl," Tyler said as he kissed my forehead. "Now try and be nice Talia." I sighed, why was having all of these old emotions come back up again. It's not like we would ever have a chance in the first place. Well I'm glad I found out now...better than later. We arrived at the venue and I decided to go explore, I invited my brother.
He looked up at the stage. "That's a pretty big stage! Isn't it, Lynn?" It was a big stage for only two people to play they would feel like if one person was in the area.
"Yeah, maybe you and Tyler could run marathons across the stage." I said sitting on the floor messing around with the Canon's features I have never used before.
"Are paying attention, Lynn?" Josh asked.
"Yeah," I said.
"No you're not Lyndsey," he said. "Ever since breakfast you've been acting distracted and you've also been avoided eye contact with Tyler."
"Do you think Talia is a good match for him," I asked. "She doesn't seem well nice."
"Honestly, I'm not a big Talia fan either," Josh said. "She's full of herself. But I support my best friend no matter what."
Finally the concert began and the room soon became stuffy with all of the people beginning to come. Suddenly someone tapped me on the shoulder. "Aren't you Lynn Dun? Josh's sister."
"Yeah that's me." I said.
"Could I get a picture." I took a photo with the girl. Suddenly the concert started and A Starlit City went onstage and they began to play there set. I suddenly began to feel jealous of Talia's talent. I ran backstage half there and decided to find someone to talk too. I frantically ran around looking for someone to talk to.
"Lynn, are you okay?" It was was Tyler.
"Yeah I'm fine I just can't find my cellphone." I said. "I think someone might be trying to get ahold of me since it's my first day of tour."
"It's your first day who would worry?" He laughed. I sighed would have to tell him the truth.
I guess I need to explain something. Before their last tour Tyler and I had a small fling, we didn't;t tell Josh or anybody but before they left we decided to call it a quits. Maybe we should just be friends and that's how we decided that maybe we shouldn't date. It didn't hurt me. I just got my job at Simply Photos. He wanted me to lead a normal life with a normal boyfriend and have a semi normal family, only semi normal because of Josh. I agreed maybe he was right.
"And I need to check my phone I think Aaron's texting." I said. Nope. Just a couple texts from Susie and Bethany.
SUSIE: Hey, Lynn! Any cute guys tell them Susie Ashbury from Cleveland is available. You're probably working haha love you Lynn-Lynn.
BETHANY: Just heard your taking pictures of twenty one pilots...congrats Lyndsey you deserve it.
I sighed, I was kind of sat Aaron didn't text so I had a better excuse to run backstage. How could I say; I'm jealous of your girlfriend, Tyler. I saw Tyler trying to peer over my phone also considered if Aaron was texting.
"No, just my friends Susie and Bethany." I laughed.
"Oh," he said. "So that wasn't the real reason." The look on his face told me he knew what I was doing back hear and why I had a frantic look. "I can't believe you, Lyndsey. We had an agreement and you were supposed to agree it isn't my fault you haven't moved on."
"Moved on!" I said. "Oh like we actually had something that we could move on from? Tyler, it was a fling! I'm over it but it's been too months. I bet you I will end up dating Aaron."
"No." Tyler said.
"What's the big deal?" I said. "You don't care do you?" Lynn, that was mean...why'd you say that? I walked away grumbling a series of swear finally Talia's set was done but she came over to Tyler.
"What's that chick's problem?" She asked.
"Her name's Lynn." Tyler said. "And I have no idea what's going on with her."
I took pictures of the concert and I got some really good pictures of the guys. I didn't know what to do. I sighed why am I feeling this way about Tyler Joseph?
