I flip Jessica off. "Let us work!" I snap.

Jessica doesn't flinch. She just continues to observe us. The Doctor puts a hand on my shoulder. "Next to Donna, you're one of the spunkiest companions I've ever had," he states.

"Thanks?" I reply. "Let's just hold back those waves."

"Fine," the Doctor mutters. "Let's go to the TARDIS." He sonics the console, and a moment later, we're on the TARDIS. The Doctor plugs his sonic screwdriver into the console, switches to the app S-H 506. "Since the sonic is plugged in, the power will amplified by 150%, so the radius of the sonic wave can reach up to 196.9 million miles wide, which is how many square miles the earth is. I'll set the timer for 30 seconds. Then the sonic will have the app activated for half a minute. Okay, ready?"

Daniel and I nod. "Okay, Danny boy, count down from 10," he demands.

Daniel takes a deep breath. "Right. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...0!" The Doctor clicks the sonic screwdriver's trigger, and a shrill, ear-splitting buzz emits from the TARDIS. "Wait! How do we get back to the Leeth's ship to make sure it works?" he yells.

I get an idea. "TARDIS, screwdriver, now!" A plastic, red-lit, hexagonal prism-like device with a tiny button on the bottom pops out of a hole in the console. I snatch it up, and press the trigger. We're transported to the Leeths' ship. I sonic the large, metal console, and everything lights up.

Jessica's eyes widen. "You did it! You actually got my ship to work!"

"Just go!" the Doctor shouts. "Go, and never return!"

Jessica pulls the thrust, and the ship is propelled upward. It ascends faster and faster into the clouds, when we suddenly hear a large BOOM! A sonic boom! We exited the atmosphere. I sonic the ceiling again, and we're back on the TARDIS. As soon as our feet touch the floor, the annoying buzzing stops, and we know that the satellites have started working again.

I put an arm around the Doctor and Daniel. "Well, that was kind of terrifying."

Daniel turns to me. "Wait! What about the people at the Eye?"

We burst out of the TARDIS to find the London Eye back in it's original state, with everyone inside a glass ball. How the aliens did that, I haven't a clue. Daniel and I exchange glances. "We are never going on that ride again," I decide.

"I second that," my friend finalizes.

"Good," I reply. "So, Doctor. Any other psycho alien enemies you want us to know about?"

"Oh, I have way too many enemies you should know about. Let's just play it by day," he exclaims, obviously tired.

We pop back into the TARDIS. Daniel follows me to my bedroom, and we sit on my bed. "Kate, I think you were pretty lucky," Daniel says.

"That I met the Doctor? Yeah, I'd say so. I mean, so what if only five minutes into him picking me up, we had to keep him from death by androids?"

Daniel laughs. "Don't you realize what being friends with the Doctor means?"

"What?"

"We can go anywhere in the world we want! We've always talked about traveling when we grow up. Now we can," I tell her.

"You're right. We can! We could move to Scotland like we've always talked about! We could move anywhere, actually," I realize.

Daniel yawns. "Yeah...you know, I'm kind of tired. Is it...is it okay if I sleep in your bed? Until I get my own bedroom, of course."

"Yes! I mean, yeah. Yeah, that'd be fine. I can just...sleep...on...the floor." I stand up, and sit criss-crossed applesauce by the door. "Have a good nap. I'll, uh, see you in an hour or two."

Daniel's eyes close, and soon, it's just me, myself, and I.
