"Ugh... My head hurts... W-what? I can't see anything!" I frantically looked around for some kind of light source. I got off the measly excuse for a bed I was sleeping on and walked to the little night table on the corner of the room. I kneeled down and found a tall candle, a candle holder with glass surrounding it, and a few packs of matches."Huh, this is strange, finding these here in a secluded room." I got up and lit the candle. "You know, not planned at all, this whole thing was just an accident, i'm not here on purpose at all." I grumbled angrily. I looked around the now faintly lighted room and found a key on the little table. "Strange, I didn't see this before... Ah well, I must of missed it or something." I picked it up and turned around to find a door made or thick, dark oak. It looked extremely old though. "Hah, good thing someone left the key just lying on the table." Of corse, there was someone doing all this, right? I didn't ponder that question for long before I put the key in the lock and opened the door to a incredably long hallway with doors here and there. Candles were lined on the walls, so I blew mine out, but still held it in my hand, just in case.

It wasn't very long before I passed by a door and heard a voice.

"Ey, is there anyone there? 'Ello? Someone out there? Anyone? Please?"

I stopped and held my breath. I thought it was just my imagination for a minute, so I waited for another response, because I usually imagine voices when I'm scared or alone. Right now, I felt both.

"*sigh* I knew there wouldn't be anyone else, It's just too good to be true, espically in this place."

That's when I realised, the voise had a charmingly french accent to it. "H-hello?" I uttered, my voice shaky.

"Ey! Over here! Do you have a key?" "Yes, I do, actually." "Oh, you do? P-please let me out!!"  I slowly walked over to the door and unlocked it. I stepped back a little and as soon as I did, the door swung open with much force. "Ah, thank you! I don't know how long I was in there, but it feels so good to finally be out and be greeted by someone as kind as you. Thank you." I took a good look at him while he was in the light from the candles. He has golden-brown hair that sat perfectly on his pale face. His eyes were a forest green that sparkled beutifuly, and his smile...I can't even begin to describe it by any other word except for adorable. And to add to the factor, he had the cutest dimples. I think I was staring at him for too long, cause his smile faded and was replaced with a look of confusion. "Uhmm.. is there something wrong?"

I gasped and shook my head slightly as I felt the heat of a blush creep up into my cheeks. "N-no, nothings wrong! I'm fine!" "Oh, thank goodness. Oh, and by the way, my name is Anthony. And to whom do I owe my rescue from the dark abyss I was trapped in?" "M-Millie. I'm Millie." I nervously said, stumbling over every word. Anthony laughed a little. "Millie? Ah, such a gorgeous name, a name from the gods themselfs. I feel privlaged to be traveling and escaping with you."  I blush even more as he takes my hand and gently touches it against his lips. "I-I don't know what to say to all this, but exactly why do you have this masking you?" "It's what I was taught to do. Truth be told, I don't really like having to practially marry every girl I meet with my words. To be completly honest, I just want to have a normal life, but NO, I just had to be taken here and trapped in that cursed room. Tell me, exactly what happened before all this?"
