Surprise! Don't you remember what today is?

I'm in bed right now because there's no school. Yes! Just what I want, a school free day. It 9:00am right, thats the usual time I wake up for weekend days and I'm just lying in bed with my soft blankets covering me and watching Liv And Maddie on my iPod. Yes, I love watching the Disney channel shows, they're so hilarious and I really enjoy watching the episodes.  But the only thing that's cutting out the faces is my cracked screen. My baby blue case is more like huge white patches color case. I remember I dropped my Ipod last year and no one has had time to take it to the computer store to get it fixed. 

10 lazy minutes later

I checked the time, 9:45 Ok, I should get up now. I rolled out of bed and went to my closet to pick out my day outfit. Hmmm, what to wear, what to wear? Ah ha! I picked up some navy jeans that are ripped (for design) on the knees and decided to wear my green and white Nike shirt. Don't I make excellent choices of what clothing I wear everyday? Yeah I do! I slipped on some black and white converse shoes, oh btw I'm in love with converse and headed to the bathroom. 

I brushed my teeth, washed my face and you know, did all that morning stuff. Then I used a black hair tie and tied my hair into an ordinary ponytail. Not to outstanding and fancy and that is my style. I headed to the kitchen to find that no one was there and it was all quiet. This is very unusual. Usually my Mom and Dad would be either washing the dishes, cooking or reading the newspaper. 

"Mom, Dad, are you there?" I asked. This feels like one of those horror movies where there's a psycho killer hiding and someones asking if anyones there. 

"SURPRISE!" 

My Mom, Dad, Brianna, Nicki, Brandon, Emma, Lucy and Techna jumped up out of nowhere! I gasped in surprise. Is my sisters really standing there? Or is it a dream?

''Nicki, Brianna! I haven't seen you guys in like a million years!" I yelled happily.

I ran to both of them and pulled them into a sister group hug. I'm so happy they came to visit! But why did they come to visit? 

"Guys, you came too? Wait, why did you even come? What's this for?" I asked confused.

"Happy Birthday Kaylee!" Techna said with a beaming smile on her face.

More "Happy Birthdays" came from everyone. Wait, it's my birthday today? I totally forgot! Wow, I have such bad memory. Let me jog it up, I'm turning 13 right? Yeah I am!

"Did you really forget about your birthday again?" Brianna said.

"Yeah, looks like I did." I said feeling slight embarrassed.  

"Everyone, come to the lounge. Kaylee, you have to open your presents!" My Mom said in a cheerful tone.

I have presents? Yes! The best part of every birthday is opening presents. Well, other then enjoying that your family's celebrating it with you, opening presents is truly awesome! I hope I get some pretty good gifts. Last year I got a lollipop from one of my old friends. I finished it in 5 minutes. So sad, she never gave me anything bigger.

We all walked to the living room where a bunch of gifts were sitting on the mat, getting ready for me to rip them open like a maniac. I squealed in delight like a little girl.

"Yay!" I can't wait to see what I got!"

We all sat down and everyone else grabbed their gifts they were giving to me (of course me). First up my best friends, Lucy held out her perfectly wrapped present to me. The wrapping design was soccer balls, oh she knows me so well.
