Hey guys! I know I'm horrible, it's been forever but here's the new chapter!

Scott's pov

I wake up to a knock on my bedroom door.

"Come in." I say as I wake up.

"Hey Scott." Seth says as he walks through my door.

"Hey little bro. What's up?" I ask.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go shoots some hoops?" He asks.

I smile. " Sure. I'll be out in a minute." He smiles and heads outside.

I get up and walk over to my closet. I put on a pair of athletic shorts and a t shirt. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I run my hands through my hair and head outside.

"Hey bro heads up." Seth says as he tosses me the ball.

I catch the ball and run in back past him and make a shot.

"Nice bro." Seth says.

"Thanks. Alright your turn."

He walks over and waits for me to throw him the ball. When I do, he runs it back dodging my block with a spin and shoots.

"Woah." I say in shock.

"Haha, yeah I'm trying out for the basketball team."Seth says with a smile.

"Well you should make it, that was really good."

"Thanks." He says, going to get the ball.

I look over at the driveway and see Kyle's car pulling in.

"Be right back." I say to Seth before making my way over to Kyle's car.

"Hey man." He says getting out of the car.

"What's up?" I ask.

"Well I heard your going out with Sarah tonight." He says.

"Yeah."

"Well I wanted to let you know something. She's really shy around guys. She's been that way since her boyfriend Jake broke her heart. So just letting you know, she might not be into your date tonight." He explains. " Lisa said she hasn't been on a date since they been here. She said she gets like uncomfortable around guys because she's worried about getting hurt again."

'Wow.' I think as I listen to him talk.

"Thanks for telling me." I say.

"No problem. I see some connection there so hopefully it works out." He says.

"Thanks." I smile.

"Hey I gotta go. Text me later and let me know how it goes." He says getting in his car.

"Will do." I say as he pulls out of the driveway.

I walk back over to Seth.

"What was that about?" He asks.

"Nothing. Alright a few more shots then I gotta get read for my date tonight." I say.

"Date? With who?"

"Her names Sarah. Shes Kyle's girlfriends best friend." I explain.

"Ah okay."
