Today was Chrissie's birthday. Her friend Jeffrey came over to wish her a happy birthday. I think he likes her because he blushed when I dared him to kiss her. Mummy and daddy scolded me for doing that though. Chrissie just looked at me. I think that she was blushing too. She was almost as pink as her bow in her curly brown hair. She looked pretty today.
I think she liked my card. I told her not to bring it outside in the rain because it might melt. She smiled at me and called me silly. I don't understand why. And then she tickled me.
I noticed that mummy and daddy still looked scared about something. They watched Chrissie, Jeffrey, and me very closely. It was almost as if they were watching us like they'd never have another party with us...
Well, I'm tired and I have to work on crocheting tomorrow. Good-night, diary.
