Jayde: The Explosion

Here it was. My sixteenth birthday party. Every girl in Aspela wanted to have one, but most families were too poor. Even my family being as rich as they are only manage to scrape together enough money for such a lavish affair.

I had put on one of my Great Grandmothers gown and my mom's Beautiful purple jewelry.My Mother made me put on makeup , even though i hate it! The gown is grape purple and the makeup is in shades of pink. The girl in the mirror wasn't me at all. Posh people described me as scrawny and emos described me as edgy.In other words, i looked Wonderful

" Jayde! No touching your face!"

"Your makeup will smudge!" Says Silvia, my Cousin.

"Calm down , I won't touch it" I say. Then I turned to my mother "I'm going for a breather, mother"

"Alright dear, just don't get that gown dirty!You know how cross Nana will get!" Says Mother

I walk out of my mansion like house,and walk towards my friend Nile's house.The landscape is lush and smells fresh. I was just about to knock when Nile came out wearing his father's suit.Nile had strawberry blonde hair with light blonde tips. I've known him since we were 5, and i have had feelings for him since we were 10.

"Woah!" he exclaims. A blush creeps to my cheeks. ""You look beautiful Jayde."

"Not too bad yourself Nile."

"Shouldn't you be getting ready for the party Jayde?"

" I am pretty much already ready for the party but I came to see how things were"

"Oh alright, come in"

I go in and sit down on a sofa, and Nile sits next to me.

"So how's life?" Nile asks.

"It's good, i guess"

"Um Jayde, do you wanna maybe go out together somewhere?"

"Uh, when?"

"Tommorow"

"Sure"

Then comes the annoying awkwards silence. These have been happening far too often lately. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

"Can i try something?" Nile asked

"I guess"

He leaned in and so did I. His lips crashed onto mine, and oh-so-on-time came in Nile's Big Brother, Gregg.

"Is something going on here?"

"Uh no" We say in unison

"Ok because its time to go"

We silently walked across the street and into the party hall.

My mother seeing Nile, Gregg and the rest of his family lets out a sigh of relief. She knows I'm in safe hands.

I saw my Father and run up to him

"Daddy!"

I guess you could say I'm daddy's girl.

"Hey kitten! Happy Birthday"

"Thank you" I exclaim.

"Alright everyone! Lets go"

As I walk onto the stage, the world before me explodes
