Once upon a time, there was a lonely girl who broke a pop star's heart, and that girl would be me. Hi! I'm Brittany.

My name is Brittany Vandergelder and I'm seventeen. My family owns a winery and another company that I don't really care about. I'll be a senior in high school and am currently working at Walmart even though it's not really necessary.

Right now, I'm working, scanning people's stuff and telling them how much to pay for. Sounds easy, but not if you get anxious and nervous a lot. Some customers are not that nice, just so you know.

As I scan this person's huge bag of toilet paper, I quickly glance at the clock to check the time. When I do, I find out that I only have five minutes until my shift is over. I work from 4 p.m to 10 p.m, it's summer so I can sleep in in the morning and just go to work in the afternoon.

I wrap up and check out of my job after I grab some stuff for a midnight snack. I always eat after work since I miss dinner. Sometimes when Walmart lacks staff, they tell me to come early. I do, money helps.

When I get home, I quickly shower and gather all my food into a pile in my bed, just waiting for me to snack on them.

While watching Insidious in the middle of the night, my phone rings. I answer the phone without even checking who it's from and say, "I'm sleepy. It's the middle of the night and maybe I'll call you tomorrow."

"Okay, tomorrow, got it," the man on the other line says.

"Yeah, sweet dreams." And I hang up.

I clean up my mess and next thing I know, I'm asleep.

I wake up at 10 a.m the next day. As usual, I wear sweatpants and a tank top, go downstairs, grab a brunch, and walk out in the streets of Calabasas, California.

A lot of famous people live in Calabasas as it's fairly near Los Angeles where Hollywood is. And I've heard that this is where Justin Bieber lives. I don't know, but I'm pretty sure this is where the Kardashians lives though.

While walking, my phone rings and I immediately check who it's from; it's from Dane, my best friend. I answer and say, "Hey, Dane."

"Hey. I called you last night, but you said you were sleepy. Anyway, I want you to come over. I need you to come with me to the mall. But, if you're wearing sweatpants, get changed," he says then hangs up.

Wow. I go back home and find my parents talking with a familiar visitor.

"Hi, good morning," I say.

"Good morning," they all respond.

"Honey, this is Mister Scooter..." my mother says, but I cut her off.

"Braun," I continue. "What is he doing here?"

"He's here to offer you a job," Dad says.

"Mother, Father, do you know who this guy is? He's Justin Bieber's manager and you know how I feel about him," I say.

"Yes, we do know him. We've been friends since he was really young. And we do know how you feel about Justin," my mother responds.

"What do you feel about him?" Scooter asks.

"Please no, don't ask her!" Mom dearest says.

"She loves that boy, and when she starts, she's unstoppable!" Dad talks.

"Well, that boy is my life, you know, and..." I get cut off by Justin's own manager.

"Yes, yes. You love him with all your life and you'd do anything for him. Wouldn't you?" Scooter says again.
