On our way home, Dane says to me, "He's actually really nice."

"Who? Justin?" I ask.

"Yes. Pretty cool I must say," he confirms.

"Just wait until you have to hang out with us again."

"Why? You're going to hang out again?" he asks. "Don't tell me you're going to hang out with him again."

"We might, Dane. And I would love it if you'd come with us." I say.

"How will you even? I mean, he's on tour! There are little chances you'll see each other again."

"Hold on a second. Why do you even know he has an ongoing tour?" I ask.

"Well, uhm, you've told me before! Yes, you've told me," he nervously answers.

"I never told you he's on tour. You said you don't like him, so I don't bother telling you. Are you sure you're not starting to like Justin? Dane, I think it's time for you to open your heart to Justin and accept the fact that you're starting to like him. It's okay to tell me," I say.

"No, Brittany. I still hate him. But his car is pretty dope though."

"You know my car is exactly like his, right? But, whatever you say, Dane."

Five minutes later, we're home. Dane drops me off in front of my house and I go in immediately to get ready for work. In the living room are my mom, dad, and Scooter. Why hasn't he left yet?

"Oh, hey. You're still here," I tell Scooter.

"Yes. Your parents and I are just walking down memory lane," Scooter answers.

"Oh, okay. By the way, aren't there any contracts I need to sign for this business transaction?"

"Well, nope. Like your mom said, this will just be another favor. That means this is hassle free and no strings attached, and you'll also get paid for it."

"Too good to be true, but yeah whatever. As long as it has no strings attached. Anyway, I'm going to work. I'll see you all later."

I run upstairs, change my pad and tampon since the old ones are really bloody red and wear my Walmart uniform and, go back downstairs. I grab some chips and hang out with these people at home.

"We saw Justin at the mall today," i start.

"Really? How did it go?" Scooter asks.

"Well, he hit Dane's car which made Dane a little bit angry, and when I was at McDonald's, he approached me and we started talking and hung out at the mall," I respond.

"That's a good start. I know things will work out just fine," he says again.

"I hope you're right. Who would want to be bashed on by people who love him so much, right?" I say. Then, I ask Scooter for some advice, but he just tells me to go with the flow and do what I want so there will be no one to blame, except me, of course.

Scooter tells us a story of how he and Justin always fool around, something Justin and I did and will do. He also tells me stuff to do when I'm with Justin, like let him take me wherever he wants to. When 4 p.m comes, I hug my mom and dad goodbye and hop into my car. Yes, my car really is exactly the same car as Justin's.

At work, I check in and get on my counter. As I fix my uniform, I notice people taking their phones and cameras out. They're all facing the same direction. I decide to just ignore it for it happens often--when a famous person is in this store. I'm fixing underneath my cash register when someone blocks the light, shadowing me.
