Two Worlds Collide (An Ashton Irwin Fanfic)

"Wake up Effy. It's time for school." my mum poked her head in my door. She did this every morning; it was her way of saying "Good Morning". 

I stretched my body until I felt able to get out of bed; standing up I grabbed my towel and headed straight for the shower. 

I turned the silver handle to the left and steamy water poured down onto the shower floor. I got in and began washing my hair right away being sure I wasn't late for school. Not that I should worry... I was never late for school. 

"Crap.." I cringed. I accidently cut myself with my razor while trying to shave my legs. I never cursed either... it wasn't very lady-like. A few more strokes with my razor and I was finsihed with my shower. I quickly hopped out and ran straight to my room to get ready.

I put on this nice dress I had bought; buttoned it up and tightened the belt. My make-up and hair came next; making sure they were both really neat. Then one by one I put on my shoes and earrings.

"Got enough time to get to school and hang out with Alexis for 15 mintues before first class." I whispered to myself as I was grabbing my bookbag and leaving out my bedroom door.

"Bye mum, love you! See you after school." 

"Bye Effy, have a great day at school." she yelled back and I was out the front door.

 "Hey babe!" Alexis smiled as she walked up to me. I was sitting under a shady tree in the front yard of our school; eating an apple of course, that was always my breakfast. I was reading 'The Fault in Our Stars' by John Green; it was a new book I had decided to interpret.

"Hey!" I covered my mouth with my hand as I spoke since I had food in it.

Alexis sat down next to me and pulled out her Psychology homework,"Can I see your homework pleaseeeee?" she begged.

"Ha you should probably start doing your homework more often.. that's probably why you're failing!..." I joked while unlatching the buckles on my book bag, "Just give it to me at lunch. C'mon let's go to class." I handed her the assignment as we stood up, then we started off to class.

On our way I made eye contact with someone I did not recognize...

"Who is that?" I asked my friend Alexis unsure.

"Oh that's the new kid, Ashton. I've heard not to mess with him... he's dangerous."
