Hello shantay, make sure you read this chapter before you sashay away. (Anyone get the reference ;3)

Gray POV:

"So, how many kids are you taking care of?" I asked as my eyes slowly traveled around the room. Everything still felt so surreal.

"Oh a about four children...many I don't believe fit into the term special, but that's not my decision. If the parents think there is something wrong with them, then so be it...it's a shame really, one of my kids parents abandoned him." My Dad explained as she looked through her bookshelf.

"Why?" I questioned the tea was finally cooling down so I was able to sip on it. My Dad turned around to face me.

"He was gay," she whispered as soft as silk before turning around once more. Gay?

"What does the boy look like?" I questioned hoping it would be Freed. There was a loud creak noise and a voice soon followed after.

"Carla and I are here!" A voice that seemed to come from a little girl bellowed filling the silent house.

"Oh so you're Miss Fullbuster's son, you're really handsome," the little girl with dark blue vocalized.

"Why thank you." I respond back smiling. She returned the smile back with her big, toothy grin.

"Meet my best friend Carla." I watched as the girl pointed to thin air, I awkwardly grin to myself like a fool. Not knowing how to address the situation.

"She's waiting for you to shake her hand..." She mummers after a few seconds of pure tranquility.

"Oh!" I exclaimed quickly motioning my hand in the air acting as if I were shaking someone else's. The little girl then peered down her smile faded.

"Carla's not that tall..."

"Don't run away from me Wendy!" A voice huffed as it entered the house. There Freed stood out of breath. He turned in our direction ready to give the girl a scolding, but then he laid eyes on me.

"Gray!" He excitingly exclaimed, his tone changing in a split second.

"You know my son?" My Dad asked. Freed then nodded.

"He's helped me with some complications before, Miss." Freed replied back, wiping the sweat he exfoliated off with the back of his palm.

"That's my boy!" She proudly stated pulling my into a hug. I felt loved, it seemed like one of the greatest feelings in the world...I didn't want it to stop.

"Well anyway, I gotta get cooking Miss Fullbuster....the Dad, and her kid who's she's trying to admit here is coming today." Freed said.

"Go ahead."

"I can help you," I blurted out.

"That'd be great."

"Finished!" Freed exclaimed happily as we sat the food down on the round, wooden table.

"This looks great," I stated staring at the prepared food. Freed nodded at my statement with a smile on his face. It was now dark out, and I already told my Mom about the situation.

There was then a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" I Wendy's voice echoed.

"Welcome!" I could hear her from the kitchen scream. Freed and I begun to stroll over to the main room, once I got there I stopped in my tracks.

There she stood.

Juvia.

There stood Juvia, with a sad look in her eyes.
