I look up at the shadow that covered the table, only to find Blake standing there.
" hi" I said loss for words.
"Hi, he responded just as puzzled as I was. I noticed that he was carrying a bag filled with cloth and some school supplies I can only guess are meant for tomorrow's school.
"May I sit," he asked pulling out a chair next to me, I nodded lost for words again. My anatomy seem to disappoint me when it came to talking to Blake. Sitting down he placed his bags of clothes and supplies and scooted the chair in more to the point where I could feel his knees rubbing against me.
"So, what brings you here today sweetheart?" grandma started breaking the uncomfortable silence that settled over the table, since our surprise guest appeared. I couldn't help but feel like grandma planed this all along.
"Oh you know just shopping for some clothe and supplies," he answered like it was that obvious. I decided to stay quit even though I though he was lying..... But why??
My grandmother has always had a habit of setting things up to avoid a pressing need, to talk about her feeling when confronted.
