The airplane ride was faster than I actually thought it was gonna be. Getting off the plane and waiting? Now that it a different story. I haven't see my grandmother in almost over four years. ever since mom and dad died, things have been so hard, and the only was I knew how to cope was by pushing away, all of those around me,
“You must be Adelina ray?' said a deep sexy voice. I turned around so fast, almost giving my self whiplash, to fined the owner of the voice.
There stood in front of me was the hottest boy I've ever seen in my entire life. This is so much better than the voice, I thought.
“Hi?” I said at last for words. This guy was a complete master peace. There has got to be a state, where being this hot must be illegal.
“My name is Blake and I was sent here by your grandmother....... Melinda ray? She told me to pick you up and drop you off at here house.” he said reaching for my luggages.
After handing him my luggage, I proceeded to get out of the crowded air port.
“So, you work for my grandmother?” I asked trying to make a conversation; even thought that is something I really suck at.
“Yeah, she is a pretty nice woman, I love spending my times on the ranch, looking after the horses while she does marketing stuffs,” he said falling into line with me as we walked out of the busy crowded air port.
The car ride was awfully quit and I didn't try to make anymore conversations after that. Looking at the window I couldn't help but notice the how beautiful this part of the state was. Every thing just looked very good; neat and organized, that you could help but be drawn to it.
Every once in a while, Blake would avert his eyes in my direction, to look at me, making sure I didn't see him. I did. I caught his eyes every time he looked, but decided to stay quick non the less. Blake focused the rest of the drive home on the road. I guess he decided that a side way glance was not going to help start a conversation, so he stopped.
“This is my grandmother house?” I asked astounded by the view of the big mansion, that was placed behind the antique old gate. I have never seen anything so big in my entire life.
“You act like you have never seen your grandmother's house?” Blake voiced, pulling me out of the trans of admiring the house. I turned to Blake's confused face to answer his question when my grandmother came rushing out of the big house, with her hand spread oped for a hug.
“my beautiful Lina, god I missed you so much, how are you? Come in we have a room ready for you, are you hungry, are tired do you nee-”
“grandmother I'm fine, and it's nice to see you too,'” I said cutting her off, and at the same time trying to remember if I even met her. I decided to just go with have met her, no idea in which life but, I've got to have met her right? I squeezed out of my grand mother arm, after the excruciating hug and tuned to face Blake, only to come face to face, with an empty spot, where he used to be.
