The Vampire and the Werewolf

First Day

It's the first day of school and i've decided to wear something inspired by my fandom Doctor Who after rose tyler and the ninth doctor a dark purple thin long sleeve shirt with a black leather jacket black skinny jeans, black boots, and of course my ring that Silas gave me. I decide i'm going to leave my waist length dark brown wavy hair down and put on some eyeliner and mascara and then look in the mirror. I see the same girl i've always seen a short 5 ft 3 girl with lightly tanned skin, dark hair, green eyes, and slightly on the bigger side i thought once i was a vampire i'd be perfect in every way; but looking now i still see how my smile is lopsided it didn't make me magically smaller and have the perfect body i'm still a size 12 i was hoping for at least an 8 but vampire magic can't suck the fat out of you apparently but it's fine with me. I hurry and brush my teeth and run out i don't bother to eat breakfast since it doesn't do anything for me and i run out to my car its an old 79 dodge charger. I start her up and go to school i keep repeating to myself that today will be a good day and i won't get overwhelmed with my need to feed this will be the most people i've been around since i turned and to say i'm nervous is an understatement. 

      I get to school about 10 minutes early and just sit in my car trying to gauge how well i'll be able to cope today so far i think i'm doing well but we'll see if that continues when everyone is pushed up against me in the halls. I go to the office and get my schedule, locker number and combination and head off to find my locker. Luckily my best friend Annabels locker is next to mine and my best guy friend Kaidens locker is next to Annabels.  Annabel and I have been friends since kindergarten and we became friends with Kaiden when he moved here Freshman year. We all compare schedules and i'm glad to see that the first half of the day i'm with Kaiden and the second half i'm with Annabel and we all have lunch together. I can start to feel my hunger rise but Silas is going to sneak me some blood in a "cherry" slushy since he figured my hunger was going to spike especially today. Kaiden and I head off to History while Annabel goes to English on our way to history i remembered that i needed to put my phone up in my locker and tell Kaiden to go on ahead of me just to save me a seat in class. On my way to my locker i wasn't paying attention and ran straight into what felt like a brick wall i slowly look up to see the hottest guy i've ever seen in my whole life he's easily six feet tall and definitely works out because i know i felt abs when i ran into him he has tan skin brown hair that probably would curl if he grew it out and piercing green eyes. As i came back to reality and realizing that i was staring at this guy that i've never seen before and probably scaring him. I clear my throat and actually speak.

"Um hello sorry i ran into you i wasn't exactly paying attention and i was in a hurry, is it your first day here..well that's stupid of course it is, it's the first day of school i just meant that i've never seen you before and i'm rambling aren't I I'm sorry i'm Amelia Black and what's your name."

He didn't respond at first but i heard a whisper come from him.

"Mate"

"I'm sorry what was that you said?"

He looked shocked momentarily like he couldn't believe i heard what he said which was prolly what he was going for but because of my super hearing i could hear it anyway.

"Uhh right name sorry, my name is Dimitri Belov, and yeah i'm new you could say i moved here when i was a freshman but i was homeschooled and i convinced my parents to let me come to public school for my senior year." 

"Oh you're a senior too that's great well what's your first class i can show you if you're lost but i have to put my phone up first so we may be a little late."

"Yeah that would be great actually my first class is history, and i don't mind being late i'm new so i'm allowed to be late and you are helping the new student so that should give you brownie points."

"Ha yeah it should come on my lockers right down here."

After i put my phone up me and Dimitri walked to history together it was a soundless walk there he didn't say a word to me but he kept staring at me i might not have noticed if i was still human but with my senses i can tell when someone is staring i can hear whispers from across the room and smell blood from a mile away literally Silas wanted to test the theory and he still tests me to see if my senses are getting stronger or if they will stay where they are. Once we got to class we still had maybe a minute til class began i sat next to Kaiden and Dimitri sat next to me and i swear i heard him growl at Kaiden and if kaiden herd i don't see how he ignored it he looked at Dimitri a few times and i swear it looked like they were having a conversation telepathically it was kinda weirding me out to be honest so far the first day of school has been interesting to say the least.
