The Vampire and the Werewolf

Lunch

The first four classes went by in a breeze and finally lunch came i was so excited to see Silas i think i'll go insane or snap without blood my body is hurting all over from how hungry i am Silas warned me that I would prolly feel like this with so many people around but he said i'll eventually get over it. I finally spot Silas coming up the lawn and i go outside to meet him I notice all the girls staring at him i know Silas is gorgeous but he's my creator and although he's good looking Silas already told me he would never be with a vampire he created so if i had feelings for him to cut them off so i did but i can still admire his nice body. Silas is about 5'10 -5'11 he has pale skin, piercing blue eyes, and pitch black hair that has a natural bluish tint to it he is also about 150 years old he said hes old but he's definitely not the oldest the oldest vampire is over 1,000 years old so i guess Silas is considered a child still and im a baby at that. Silas sees me and smiles and walks up to me with my "slushy" in his hand.

"How are you doing today Amelia."

"I'll tell you in a minute give me the slushy so I dont freak out"

"I warned you that it would be hard you should have listened to me and left your family when you turned. I told you that there is a school set up for kids who get turned it's a lot easier to learn when you're not tempted to eat the teacher."

"And I told you that I didn't want to just leave my family I'll go to your vampire hideaway when I graduate until then your just going to bring me bloody slushies' everyday till I can go without."

Before Silas could fire back a retort I swear I heard someone growling and I wasn't the only one because Silas looked around too trying to find the source, and he figured it out before I did.

"why didn't you tell me you had werewolves at your school?"

"Silas what on earth are you taking about? Werewolves don't go to school here I think I would notice if one was here."

"Amelia werewolves can change you know there not just dogs all the time they're people too, and from what I can tell you have a few that go to school here with you. Which I'm not sure how I missed that either way I didn't see who was growling but whoever it was I don't think they like vampires being here."

"What! Am I safe I'm not going to be eaten am I? Because that's vital information I need to know Silas."

"No you wont be eaten calm down if anything they'll just make sure your not causing problems which is fine because you are not and will not cause any problems. If their is werewolves here then there is a pack nearby and two vampires can not take on a whole pack especially a newborn being one of the two you may be strong but you'll be reckless, and that will get us both killed so be good drink your blood slushy and go back to class I'll be waiting at the cabin when you get out."

"Okay fine ill see you later Silas."

I went to give Silas a hug and found myself hearing someone growl again. I don't know why anyone would find a hug threatening but either way I hugged him and went to find Kaiden and Annabel.

My disappearance didn't go unnoticed when I found Kaiden and Annabel at the lunch table Annabel looked like she was on the verge of exploding with questions while Kaiden looked a little irritated, which is odd because Kaiden generally doesn't get irritated he's the most level headed person I know and doesn't get mad or irritated easily by any means.

"Hey guys what's up"

"What's up why don't you tell us what's up we seen that sexy man you were talking to who is he? You never told me you had a boyfriend and he even brings you slushy's to school how awesome is that."

Like I imagined Annabel is overly excited seeing me with my "boyfriend" and trying to deny it would be futile because she'll say I'm lying anyway but its worth a shot.

"He's not my boyfriend we just talk that's all and he knows I like cherry slushies' so he was being nice and brought me one that's all Annabel."

"Uh huh sure that's all, you can deny it now but I know love when I see it and you're definitely in it."

"Ha ha if you say so Annabel but trust me there is no love there not in that since anyway. We talk and hang out sometimes but that's as far as it goes."

"Okay, okay if you say so but I still think you just have a secret boyfriend that you don't want to share with us right Kaiden?"

Through all of mine and Annabels conversation on weather I have a boyfriend or not Kaiden had been unnaturally silent.

"Annabel if Amelia says that her and that strange guy are not dating then they're not dating just leave it at that okay stop pestering her about it. I'm sure she would have told us if she was dating anybody. Right Amelia?"

Kaiden sounded a little weird like he was trying to convince somebody else that I didn't have a boyfriend and not just himself and Annabel like there was someone else listening in to the conversation but no one was close enough to hear any of us.

"Right Kaiden I wouldn't keep that information from you guys, so I'm going to finish my slushy and then head to class."

I headed to the last half of my classes and luckily the day ended uneventfully. I walked to my locker when the bell rang and said goodbye to Kaiden and Annabel, and then I headed out to my car to go meet Silas at our cabin.
