Chapter 2 The Move

When Aralyn was 4 years old she moved from Vermont to Michigan. She started at her old house then spent a few weeks with her grandparents all packed up for the move. Then her and her family left for Michigan. They were moving to Michigan for two reasons. 1. Her dad got a promotion where he had to move from his office in Vermont to a new office in Ann Arbour, Michigan. 2. Her best friend Toni's mom called CPS because her siblings and her screamed a lot, but they were never in pain, they were just fooling around. Her parents decided it wasn't safe in the small town of Sane Albans, Vermont.  So they moved, but told them that it was only because of her dad's work. They stayed in a hotel for about 3 days before they found a house to settle in. The house was a decent sized house in Fenton, Michigan. But not as big as their house in Sane Albans, Vermont. It was still big enough for Aralyn, her brother, her sister, her mom, her dad, and her aunt; barely big enough. 3 days after they were moved in a huge tornado hit and they were stuck in the basement for hours; not to mention with a 4 year old, a 3 year old, and a 1 year old. Talk about annoying. The move was kind of tough on Aralyn because she left her school and her friend behind. She still misses Vermont to this day.
