Chapter one

Riley was sitting in her window alone. Maya and Lucas weren't dating anymore since Farkle told them her secret. It was sweet that Farkle cared but she was worried that that was a mistake. When Farkle and her we're talking outside of Topangas, she realized something. She had the feeling she would have with Lucas, only she could still talk to him normally. She couldn't tell him though. She needed the time to think about it but he had her on a countdown. She felt horrible. She thought that if she had told Farkle that she liked him, he wouldn't have said that she loved Lucas and she wouldn't have broken them up. Farkle could always tell what she felt. How come this one time he couldn't see through her? She thought how she could fix everything. She could just tell them and then Lucas would be with Maya because she had feelings for someone else. She couldn't though. Why couldn't she. What if Farkle only liked her as a friend? Then she oil don't have Lucas but neither would Maya and she wasn't going to make Maya suffer like that.
"Hey, Riles." Said Maya, climbing through the window.
"Hey, how you feeling?"
"Fine."
"You sure?"
"Ya, I'm pretty much over it." She was definitely upset, but didn't look at Riley in the eyes so she couldn't tell.
"You know, if you just say that you want to keep dating him then he's yours." She shook her head.
"I liked him. You love him."
Not more than Farkle, she thought. Her feelings for him were increasing by the second.
"You don't like him anymore."
"No. Anyways, wanna go somewhere!"
"Like where?"
"We'll figure it out." Said Maya, climbing out the window.
