Searching || Kamisama Kiss

Introduction

A/N: If you would not like to know the backstory of your character then don't read this. If you would continue reading. Basically the first chapter is the backstory of your character. But anyway onwards with the story.

Your p.o.v.

I was born on January 1st, at exactly 12:00 am. But there was something wrong that day. My father was not there yet all of my mothers close friends were there. Some of her friends like Otohiko, Yonomori, Narukami, Ikusagami, Ookuninushi, and Mikage.

Oh Mikage, he was like a second father to me. He had run away without a trace but he was kind and still kept contact with me. It was unknown socializing to my mother. She was frantic and joined Tomoe in the search for Mikage.

She was frantic because Mikage was the one who had educated me at a young age. He had taught me how to make flowers bloom and how summon animals at my will. He taught me how to gain and use divine power. While his petty little fox sat in the corner and watched from afar.

Oh how I hated that fox. It's his fault my beloved mother had died. He couldn't protect her from another little yokai. He was pathetic! Even Ookuninushi was mad at him.

After all my mother was always his favorite friend. She had beautiful Sakura colored hair and welcoming brown eyes, (picture above). She was fun loving and taught me how to sing and dance. Whenever I thought of her I would sing the most important song she taught me and would dance along to the song of Sakura.

The day she died was the worst day in my entire life. I went to the middle of the park and had cried my heart out. When I had finally stopped crying there was a beautiful weeping willow that stood. But this one was different, the leaves on the tree had a pink color almost as if a Sakura tree. From that day on was where I would go to get away from the world.

I had only needed to get away from the world because since my mother had passed her duties as a god were passed onto me. Being a god may sound easy but to be honest, it's the hardest job in the world. And without a familiar things were a lot more difficult.

Just to add onto that my favorite animal to summon had run away. My precious Kitsune had left the shrine. When I had gone looking for him, I had reunited with Mikage. He told me his intentions to give that girl that was on the bench his shrine. Once he gave me an explanation I agreed to help him by summoning a dog so she could rescue him. Luckily the plan worked and the girl known as Nanami was the new land god.

This is where my story takes place.
