The setting of this story is in current day Manila, Philippines. In this story Tagalog is spoken between all of the characters. However, this story is written in English to benefit those who do not understand Tagalog.
The characters are completely fictitious, with the exception of a few famous actors and actresses that are mentioned as references. If they describe someone that known to the audience, the coincidence was unintentional. There are also places described in this story that are fictitious, but there are places that do exist in Manila, Philippines – such as Rizal Park, the museum, and the church. Famous places and objects in this story are in fact real; but those that are not, were created in essence of the story.
The story begins with two young adults that have to leave their lives behind because of certain circumstances. Now that fate has entwined their lives, will they find their future in each other? Or will they just go their separate ways?
