Chapter 2: The video

Dan awoke , then he remembered last night, he put his hand the other side of the bed feeling for Phil's body, he felt nothing. He's probably up Dan thought, sighing he got out of bed , put clothes on and made his way to the lounge in their flat. He opened the door to see a half dressed Phil bent over the CD player putting in a "Attack on Titan " CD, Dan closed the door as quiet as he could and snuck over to Phil just as he turned around, snaking his arms around Phil's shirtless waist and giving Phil a kiss on the cheek to Phil's slight surprise.
"Good morning baby " Dan said.
"Morning, are you up for some Attack on Titan" Phil said, smiling like a idiot.
" Fuck yeah " said Dan, " What cereal do we have " , he yawned.
" It's on the coffee table " phil said ,
pointing to the pre made bowl of cereal.
The episode came on and they settled in , Dan's lower legs resting on Phil's lap , one arm wrapped around his neck .
" Are we gonna tell them today " Dan said, looking at Phil while biting his lip nervously.
" Yeah , I would really like to start this year being truthful about us" Phil said , with a slight hint of worry creeping in to its his tone .Dan did not trace this and smiled putting a small peck on Phil's lips and picked up the cereal bowls and Put them in the dish washer then settling back down to watch the remainder of the anime , his mind couldn't help but drift back to the thought of when they don't have to hind it anymore, Dan recalled a few months ago, he was holding Phil's hand at vidcon , thinking no one was watching, that's when he heard a gasp and turned around to see a short girl with long slivery-purple hair , wearing a Dan and Phil tee shirt was reaching for her cell phone in her back pocket to take a picture them about 30 feet away, that's when he let go of Phil's hand and bumped it against it giving the look of hand holding far away , but when she saw the picture up close they weren't  , he remember a sound of the picture click echoing in the car garage and her face peering down at the screen , a her slight frown when she realised they had not been holding hands. Dan realised that if they did make the video they could display affection in public without being scared that phandom would find out , he wanted that.
The anime ended and Dan went to set up the camera , Phil headed to his room his heart was beating out of his chest as he got dressed In his usual attire of black skinny jeans and a colourful tee. His mom and Dad knew he was in a relationship with Dan, they had no problem with it , Dan's parents Didn't ether so why was he so nervous , the whole fandom practically shipped them together , he need to calm down about this .
He heard the door creek and footsteps, he felt arms wrap around his waist and he turned to see Dan's adorable face resting on his shoulder, he turned around and gave Dan a deep passion kiss before pulling back to stare at Dan's reassuring brown eyes.
" Are you ready " Dan said .
" I couldn't be more ready in my life "
Phil said , giving a gentle kiss on Dan's lips.
They walked into Dan's room , and settled down on the end of Dan's bed, holding each other's hands
and pressed record.
