I woke up to the usual. My friend Annabella shaking me awake. I groaned . Then she shouted "WAKE UP IT'S YOUR B-DAY!!!!" I shot awake. "Whoopdeedoo." I replied after realizing no one would care. Before I could stuff my head back into my pillow I heard a clanking. I looked at the window and sitting on the ledge was an OWL. Before I could shoo it away, it BROKE THROUGH THE WINDOW!!!! "Oh. My. God." said Annabella. I looked at its foot and noticed a paper tied to it. I care fully untied it. "What is it?" asked Annabella. I ignored the question and read the official looking paper. It said:
HOGWARTS SCHOOL
of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY
Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore
(Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock,
Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)
Dear Mrs. Potter
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed list of necessary books and equipment. Term begins September 1.
