Chapter seven

.

.

"There coming,there coming!"

I jerk up, throwing Grant and the blankets off me.

"Shh, shh" he coos.

"I can't believe today is the day" I whisper.

.

.

Just as the Moon goddess said, women and children are hidden in the chambers below the ground, the only way in is from the inside. So they're safe.

Warriors line the pack house as me and Grant stand at the main entrance. My dad up on the steps behind us.

Fog emerges from the forest all around.

A women, quite young looking with long black hair is in front, the top of the triangle, my mother. I don't remember her looking like that.

They stop and line up, yards away.

She looks at dad, loses composure for a split second then she gets it again.

She holds up her hand as if to tell her posy to 'stay'.

She casually walks around.

"Wow, there's more worriors than I thought, but I know, the elders helped you, right?" She says her voice smooth and powerful.

"How does it feel to be the prophecy child, you didn't know until what? A couple weeks ago. How does that feel, being denied and betrayed by your own father?" Temping me

"I know you know it's true, he waited your whole life to tell you the truth, he let you live in a lie your entire excistance." She says

"Your own father, I guess like mother like daughter huh? He likes neither of us. Your worthless to him. Your NOT the child he wanted! To him, your a mistake!" She yells. I can tell she's getting slightly emotional.

"Your wrong." This comes from my dad.

"You, were my mistake Vic. She's not." He says looking over at me, his voice quieting almost a whisper at the end.

"Hmmp" she scoffs.

Its Time

I concentrate my mind on the house and everyone in and around it. I feel my force cover. I push it in the back of my mind.

I charge forward, the warriors soon follow, I go straight for her neck.

She sees me just in time so my claws graze her arm.

"Ha, you think you can beat me?" She says, striking, pining me to the ground.

I use my back legs to kick her, sending her to a tree, crashing her back into it, leaves and branches falling beneath her.

A purple spark strands out her hands,a second later coming straight at me.

Using the force I throw my arms up, the wall a shere light purple, her power radiating off of it, it reflects, hitting a boy witch that Jimmy, a warrior, was fighting.

He evaporates,nothing is left.

I take in a short breath, she wanted that to be me.

A few seconds later the purple stops, I let down the shield, she charges, I stun her, but she's to fast, wisping it away, fire comes at me.
