1 month later...
"Okay everyone today is the day you will all finally have to opportunity to show the judges and the fans your individual talent as well as your performance in a group, every single one of you is going to go out there tonight and give their very best. I believe in all of you and wish you the best.
I know Yoandri is going to do amazing, along with all of the other boys. They're all very talented. Everyone was off kind of doing their own thing like practicing their vocals or discussing wardrobe issues. It was kind of overwhelming and so I decided to go into to dance room. I hadn't seen Yoandri much all day and I have to admit I actually miss him. We sent each other messages here and there but we didn't have much time to be together, we both had things to do. I plug my phone into the large speakers.
"Boo" I feel someone whisper in my ear from behind. I jump forward and turn around as quickly.
"Joel! You nearly gave me a heart attack! You know you really need to stop doing that" I yelled as I put my hand to my chest only to feel my heart pounding. All I managed to get out of him was a wide grin.
"It wasn't funny" I said as I lightly shoved his arm.
"Yes it was. Just a tiny bit" I couldn't help but smile at the idiot.
"So what's up? Aren't you suppose to be getting all dolled up?" I asked him as I picked my phone up once again.
"Well actually I need your help with something"
"Okay, what with?"
"So you know that slide I need to do right before I walk towards the middle of the stage?"
"Mhmmm"
"I can't seem to get it right. Mind helping me getting it down?"
"Of course. Come on let's try to run through it" I walked towards the middle of the room in front of the large mirrors, followed closely behind by Joel.
"Okay so once the part of the song comes you're going to point your foot to the ground and slide, like this" I said as I demonstrated.
"After you finish the slide you're simply going to spin around, pop your collar and walk towards the middle. Here let's try it. I'll slide right and you'll slide right too. Okay?" I looked up at him and he nodded in agreement. I quickly ran over to push start the music and ran back to my place next to Joel. So far he was doing really good on all the dance moves. Okay here it goes he just needs to slide, spin and pop his collar. He can do it. Next thing I knew I was crashing into him. Spoke to soon. I try to stay on my feet but stumble over. Joel reaches out to me and tries to catch me but that didn't work out to well. He looses his balance too and next thing I know we're both on the floor.
"You were suppose to go right!" I say in between fits of laughter. We were both on the floor laughing like a pair of idiots.
"I thought you said left!" he laughed. I look up at him and meet his eyes. Oh those eyes. I swear I could get lost in those dreamy eyes. I noticed he was on top of me, his face inches away from ours. Oh. Okay. I could feel his breath against my lips. A stray piece of hair softly falling in front of his face. He brought one hand up to my face and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. I swear he could probably hear my heart beating out of my chest. I saw him slowly lean in and found myself doing the same. Was this really happening? Is this even real life? For I know I could be sleeping. No it was happening. His lips were only centimeters away from mine. I could feel his breath brushing against my lips. Just as they were about to touch my phone began to ring. Are you kidding me? I am seriously going to murder whoever is calling me right now. Like seriously right now of all times. Why? Just WHY? Joel quickly pulled away and lifted himself off the ground. I silently got up and walked over to my phone.
"Yes?" I answered the phone clearly annoyed.
"Fatima have you seen my hat? I can- oh wait never mind Erick found it. See you later, love you bye!" and with that Yoandri hung up. Are you freaking serious. That's why he called me?! Oh god so help me so I don't murder the boy! I turned around to see Joel awkwardly standing there.
"T-thank you for helping me I-I should probably um get going" he stuttered out as he stuffed his hands into his his pockets. His eyes darted from place to place occasionally landing on mine but never keeping complete eye contact. Before I could open my mouth to speak Mariana barged into the room.
"Fatim- oh hey Joel. Um Fatima we um have a bit of a wardrobe issue, we need to go check it out" Mariana said glancing between the two of us.
"Um yeah yeah let me just um grab my phone" I said as I grabbed my phone and began to walk out the door. I was hoping he would call out after me. But he didn't. He let me go.
I just need to talk about the picture above. How can two humans beings be so attractive. I just don't understand. Lol. Byeeeee.
