"We're here!" my mom, Octavia, said as we pulled up to our new house. At least the house is big and I got to choose my room  I thought to myself as I put on my backpack. Luckily my dad, Richard, came down about an hour early and unloaded most of our stuff and took them to their proper place in my house. "Ryker, once you unpack your stuff, clean yourself up and come in here for dinner." my mom told me as I walked up the stairs to my room. "Okay, just give me a minute." I said with an tired voice.

I walked into my room, it looked more prettier than it did when I saw it on the computer. It had violet walls and a white carpet and a giant walk in closet and a bathroom that most teens my age would die for. The only thing I didn't like at all were all the boxes covering the floor. They had everything from my posters, to my books with all sorts of spells, techniques, and mythology. 

That ride from Arizona has me tired and I have no energy whatsoever to put all this stuff up. Oh yeah... I said to myself, laughing internally, as realization hit me. I focused hard on all the objects in my room that were stored in the boxes and all at once they were put into place, just like if I had did it by hand. My room looked chic, if I do say so myself. 

Once I finished putting my stuff into place I went down the stairs to go get me some dinner because I was starving. "That was fast. Did you use your powers again?". My dad hates it when I use my powers to take shortcuts out of doing actual work. "No..." I said with mischief laced in my voice as I sat down at the island in the middle of the kitchen. My dad glared at me with scowling eyes which I just smiled innocently as started eating my pizza. 

"Which power did you use?" he said in his usual voice, to tired to be angry with me. "Telekinesis" I mumbled out since I had a mouth full of pizza, which is delicious by the way. "Take it easy on her honey, it's been a long day. She's probably tired like the rest of us. I'm headed to bed, goodnight. Love y'all." and as my mom headed to her room she kissed me and my dad goodnight. "I'm going to bed too. Goodnight daddy." dragging out the daddy part like a child just to mess with him, and then kissed him on the cheek. "Goodnight." he said laughingly.

Me and him are super close now that I'm back and I miss all the father daughter time I should have had with him while I was away. He's very strict on me because though my powers and abilities are strong, they are limited and I can only go too far before I either get a nosebleed or get super dizzy, or like a head aching sensation, and if I go too far, then I could be powerless for an hour up to a few days, which is understandable considering I'm a hybrid. 

I entered my room and jumped under the covers on my bed to finally relax and have some peace and quiet. I'm kinda nervous, but at the same time excited because tomorrow I start Beacon Hills High School.  I practically begged my mom and dad to let me go to Beacon Hills instead of getting home schooled by some idiotic teacher online. They finally agreed when I would not shut up about it and or leave them alone. The only way for me to go was that I do not, and they emphasized the 'do not' part, use my powers in any way, shape, or form in risk of someone finding out about me. Happily I agreed and so now I get to attend the same school as my cousin Allison. 

I rub my eyes and right before I fall to sleep, I life my hand and point my finger and aim it at the light switch and used my telekinesis to flip it downward to turn the light off. As I slowly fall unconscious, the demons are slowly awakening.

A/N: Hey guys! So yes, I finally finished the first chapter. It probably isn't the best but it is my first fanfic so bare with me. The actual show will start in the next chapter which I will hopefully get to here in the next few weeks. Sorry it took so long to update, I just didn't have the motivation to write this chapter because I had no idea how to start it. But this chapter consists of Ryker finally moving into her house and getting settled and you actually got to see her use one of her powers and meet her parents... sort of. You also know that she is a hybrid of some sort, which you'll find out what she is fairly soon. Comment what you think she is and if you guess correctly the chapter I announce what she is I will dedicate it to you. Also, though she has nightmares and all that, she's going to be a funny, sarcastic, wicked character, but the effects of what she has done in the past will cause like PTSD and some panic attacks if she gets to that point of panic and she has SOME trust issues which I can relate to but she will befriend Allison's 'Clique' so yay to that.
