Carson Cidnal walked into the office, whistling. He had scored the winning goal in his final match of the season, and that had left the undercover agent in an untouchable good mood. The 26 year old albino walked somberly towards his desk, he was about to turn on his computer when he realized something, he didn't have his hot chocolate. The soccer player practically skipped to the lunchroom. Putting in the hot chocolate into the Tasimo machine, he let his thoughts wander, thinking about his family was rather boring, next up in the thought train, friends. Court was due in any minute, Lou had to pick up his breakfast, but he should be here in the next 10 or so minutes, then there's Danny, who finally got a day off, for first time, in what, 4 years?

The sound of a door closing, followed by voices snapped Carson out of his thoughts. Grabbing his mug he walked out the door, back to the main room

"Hey Carson."

"Yo Carson, s'up dude."

"Hello Cidnal"

Carson nods in response and walks over to Lou Harmos, they aren't great friends, but they're friends none the less,

"What's up, man?" Carson asks, sipping on his drink

"Eh. Nothing, really. Good job on the win, by the way."

"Thanks, dude."

The two stood in comfortable silence as the rest of their team filed in. Work didn't start for another 5 minutes, so no one had turned on their computers quite yet, hell, the only person that turned on their computer before work officially started was Danny, who remained absent.

"Goddammit." a voice said, Carson recognised the voice to be Broni-Lyn

"What?" asked Kristie, Broni's best friend

"Danny's not here." Broni stated

"Yeah, no annoying, slutty, lazy, good-for-nothings" Ella, the accountant laughed

A round of agreeing laughter floated through the bullpen

"Yeah, well, Danny always brings morning muffins." Broni whined

"Her one redeeming feature." Someone called

The door opened, revealing Court carrying a large Tim Hortons box

"Hey everybody! I brought muffins!" she said cheerily

Carson sighed quietly, knowing Court had just unintentionally further outed her best friend.

"Okay, everybody, get to work." called the head honcho, Mr.Mitzi. Mitzi was a personable man, easy to talk to, easy to hang around. Rarity, the "editor" was the first to approach her computer, hitting the power button, she went to sit down, when a large spark of light burst onto her screen, this light filled every screen, before powering on the main screen. This caused a loud round of confused murmurs to flitter around. An image slowly began to appear on screen. First it said

Filming live, from a small, dark cell, we present: Hostage

"Wha-"

"Who?"

"The shit?"

The video then shifted to a dark cell, slowly the camera came into a crystal clear focus, and the person they saw caused everyone to gasp in horror. The sound of shattering glass got everyone to turn their attention to the back. Carson had dropped his mug when he saw who was on screen.

Danny.

Looking back to the large screen, everyone watched the spy's movement.

Danny groaned, and shifted her head, slowly opening her eyes, she looked up. In lagging movements she awkwardly turned her body to the side,
