"I'm sorry professor but there's a latecomer with me." Interrupt a voice while opening the great hall's door.
All eyes are now on the school's caretaker, Filch and the first year girl with him.
"It's okay, Filch. Let her in."
With a push on the girl's shoulder, Filch close the brown mahogany door and left the first year girl alone."Come and do join the first years here in front. I believe you are one of them isn't?" Said Professor McGonagall.
The girl nod and with her head up high the black wavy hair girl stride with straight shoulders to the front.
Whispers following every step but her dark brown eyes don't portray scared but fixed to the front. She smirks when her eyes met a small figure boy with slicked blonde hair standing a few feet from her.
Ignoring the whispers and anxious talking that are flying across the great hall, Professor McGonagall continues with the sorting ceremony where all the first years are sorted into their houses which either Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff.
"Lestrange, Lana." A few gasps can be heard in the hall but ignoring it, the black hair girl walk to the stool while Professor McGonagall place the hat on her. The hat just a few inches from her head when it shouted Slytherin as her house.
Whispers and points continue as she walks to the long Slytherin table when the blonde hair boy comes and sit in front of her.
"Long time no see my dear cousy Lana." He said.
"Shut up Malfoy." She replied without looking at the boy.
"Missed the train aren't you? Late as always." Replied the boy while filling his plate with foods as the festive has begun.
"Shut your mouth Draco you know I don't like intruders when I'm eating." She narrowed her eyes.
Draco smirks and continues with his food.
"Whatever cousy."
"Stop calling me that, Drakey."
She let a loud laugh before continue with her food.
"Still have that attitude of yours well, I'm not even surprised." Replied Draco while rolling his eyes.
