(Before I start let me just thank all of you for being patient with me, and encouraging me to continue. It means the world to me when you guys comment, leaving jokes or positive remarks-or anything for that matter! Thank you so much for supporting me, and hopefully my writing will only improve. Now, without further a due, the story)

He stood, staring into the distance, long finished with his portion of the search. The surrounding area was peaceful, as it was lacking the usual cheerful, chattering crew. They wouldn't be back for at least another half hour, he figured, giving him plenty of time to do whatever. Letting out a sigh, he leaned against the hull of the currently camouflaged spaceship and delved into the near inescapable chasm of boredom. He debated on whether or not he should go pester one of his team mates, oh, maybe (y/n)! That would be fun.

A small smile spread across his face as he spent the next few moments lost in his own world. He snapped out of his trance like state, only upon hearing the approaching sounds of footsteps. Not moving from his position propped up against the ship, he simply swiveled his head to get a better view of whoever it was that was coming his way. Needless to say, he was pleasantly surprised when none other than Robin stumbled int the clearing.

He smirked slightly at the boy wonder, who stood panting before him, barely making any sense of his words. He looked around slightly and remarked "Where's (y/n), huh? Ya better not have lost her" in a joking tone. Robin then took a large gulp of air and tried yet again to speak, "(y/n)! She's been taken hostage!", with a slightly raspy voice-one of which he had gained from calling out to you for about 15 minutes straight.

Wally's face kept the same small smile upon it, though his eyes acquired more of a blank, or confused state. After a bit of a pause, he asked quietly, "what?" Robins face blanched and he quickly explained, "she was taken by some men in identical uniforms after trying to run away". The boy wonder watched as all the color drained from the other boy's face. He attempted to keep cool and collected, thinking through all possible plans of action. "We can track her somehow..." he mused, trailing off at the sound of rustling leaves, he glanced upwards, only to see that no one was around. Including Wally.

Only able to watch as a flash of yellow and red sped down the forest path in the general direction you had disappeared to, his face gained a sad expression. He stood by the small ship, and messaged the others to 'return to the ship, (y/n)'s missing and Kid's going to end up getting himself hurt'. He peered at the small path of flattened grass and leaves that Wally had just created, and stood silently for  moment, thoughts whirling around in his head. Slowly, he made his way back to the center of the clearing, and waited.

Meanwhile, Wally ran frantically through the dense woodland. The seemingly endless stream of low hanging branches, and outstretching bushes tore at his clothes and skin, though he ran on with minimal speed reduction. A few stumbles here and there simply added to the aura of anxiousness already emitting from him full force.

After a particularly hard branch to the face, his eyes shut with a swear, and skidded to a halt-nearly wiping out, but instead roughly slamming his back into a solid tree trunk. Another swore was heard, and after opening his eyes, the surrounding scene seemed to be something out of a nightmare.

Not only was the world spinning, but his head was throbbing. Barely being able to make sense of anything around him, he manged to discover what looked like the edge of the forest somewhere in the near distance. And not far off from that was a strange building,or structure-of some sort.

The vision was partially obscured as his left eye began to burn, causing him to squeeze it shut. Shifting his focus away from the building, he rubbed his eye thoroughly and  pulled his hand away to be greeted by the sight of blood. Apparently, that tree branch did much more damage than was assumed.

He said nothing, but wiped away at his eye and opened it again. Not being able to asses the damage on his own, he figured he needed to return to the ship. Using the tree trunk as a temporary form of support, he pulled himself into a standing position and turned to begin heading back-only to find himself surrounded by completely unfamiliar forest. Even with the previous knowledge of the land-scape, and the amount of woodland he had covered in his area of the patrol earlier, he couldn't seem to recall the way back to 'base'.  He was hopelessly lost.

The bleeding gash on his forehead persisted, causing him to constantly wipe away more blood from the area around his eye. He knew that he needed to get moving, and he should have known that he needed something to cover the wound-not that he had anything for it. However, in his disillusioned state, he neglected to cover the cut with anything other than his hand, and continued to look around. Finding no familiar landmarks, or sign of any of his team mates, he decided on an alternate course of action.  or I need to find...(Y/n). With that thought, he lurched forward and began to stumble, out of the forest, and towards the oddly cage like structure that lie in the distance.
