Nothing happened Ruby didn't get any calls from the man she met and she was relieved. It was Sunday, the only day of the week that she had off and of course she would spend that whole day with her baby boy.The cries from the nursery woke her right up, it was still really early but not as early as she would wake up when she needed to go to work .
She stretched and yawned loudly in bed and got up. She slept with a hoodie and sweats because it was so cold. But she had a small heater in Brayden's room to assure that he was nice and warm.
She put on her slippers and walked to his room. Brayden was standing holding onto the side of the crib, about to cry out for his mother but when he saw her standing in the door way he giggled.
Ruby's eyes quickly lit up as she looked at her baby boy. She walked over to his crib and pulled him out of his crib. Kissing his cheek as she placed him on her hip.
She walked over to the changing table and put him in a warm bear onesie with a little hoodie with bear ears, and paws.
"You hungry?" She asked looking at him. All he did was squeal in delight. Which made ruby giggle, she left the nursery and walked to the kitchen.
Brayden was placed in his high chair, while ruby looked through the fridge for something to make. But she couldn't find anything but some milk and some oatmeal & Cheerios in the cabinets.
Sighing she made the oatmeal and warmed up some milk. She put the warm milk into a zippy cup, and handed it to Brayden.
She put a few Cheerios on his high chair. Once the oatmeal was ready she served it to herself in a bowl and ate it while she sat next to Brayden. Making sure that he was eating the door and not just spitting it out.
