Happy New Year

It was the New year's eve...
And Sanyukta and Randhir were getting ready for their new year party.
"Sanyu how much more time? Are you getting ready for your some secret marriage?",Randhir wriggled his brows.
"Randhir it's your fault, you told me to get ready just ten minutes ago! By the way I don't mind getting married again...do you have any particular candidate in your mind?", Sanyukta winked at him.

"Oh....so your want to marry someone else leaving me?" Saying this Randhir proceeded towards Sanyukta who was now giggling.

"Yes! Any problem? What are you gonna do?", Sanyukta made a tongue out face and started laughing.

"What will I do? Uhm...let me think" Randhir says in a husky voice and keeps moving towards Sanyukta until Sanyukta hits the wall behind and stops.

Randhir places his hands on the wall and hovers on Sanyukta, looking into her eyes,whispers,
"Look at me...this dark beard,the thick moustache, chocolate brown eyes, a perfect jawline, intelligent and smart, good sense of humour, broad shoulders...now say you'll leave me?"
" Randhir...uhm...see its already late,lets leave" saying this Sanyukta pushes Randhir behind and moves but Randhir immediately catches hold of her by her hands and pulls her behind...

Santukta's back is now facing Randhir. He places his hands on Sanyukta's waist who was wearing a red Saree which perfectly suited her.

Sanyukta couldn't help but blush at Randhir's gesture.
"Sanyu you look gorgeous! "
Suddenly...

Beep beep

It was Randhir's phone ringing reminding both of them to get to the party.
Half an hour later both of them reach the place where the New Year's party was being celebrated.

"Randhir look at the lightings around,beautiful isn't it?!", exclaimed Sanyukta who was now in the party hall walking hand in hand with Randhir who smiled looking at Sanyu as if nothing else mattered,"Nothing's more beautiful than you...Sanyu wanna dance? " winked Randhir
"Sure" Sanyukta couldn't control the blush on her cheeks.

Both of them were dancing & having fun with drinks in their hands.
It was a slow dance....
Randhir's one hand was on sanyu's waist and the other hand held her hand...
Both of them were having a lot of fun enjoying their moment together...

At midnight when there was only a few seconds for the clock to strike 12 , the host started the countdown...

"Uh....Randhir I'm really excited!!"squealed Sanyukta.
Randhir chuckled seeing Sanyukta and kissed her on her forehead and held her hand.

When there was only a couple of seconds left when Randhir turned Sanyukta making her face him, lifted her face with his hand and ....at the count of 1 ....
He kissed her with all his soul as his present for the New year for Sanyukta; and in turn Sanyukta too put in all her love in that kiss. There was a gush of happiness flowing through their hearts...it was indeed a very passionate kiss!

"Happy New year my wife" Randhir said holding her hands,both of them panting for their breaths.
"Happy New year hubby....it was indeed the best gift ever..." smiled Sanyukta with a shade of pink adoring her cheeks and then hugged him.

Holding ice creams in their hands and sitting on the rooftop of their house, a blanket wrapped around their bodies,both of then sighed with content staring at the stars.
"See that star,it is shining so brightly!",Sanyukta pointed to a star in the sky.
Randhir couldn't even look at the star...cause he was busy looking at his own star.
"Maybe that's because it's never seen anything as beautiful as you before",earning a chuckle from Sanyukta.
"You've been saying this since we met the first time!"
"That's because you've just turned more beautiful as you grew up! Not just from outside but also from inside! You're the one you taught me to be a better person, it's because of you that I'm a happy soul now...I love you because you never stopped loving me even when I was in my worst condition! I truly love you from the bottom of my heart...for being my strength,for being there for me!"

Wiping a single tear which escaped from her eyes,"I love you too my dear and I just wish I could make you understand what you mean to me...you were there for me as well...it wasn't anything big for you but for me it was the most loveliest anyone could do for me...holding my hands when my parents left it,when they left me far away to another world where I cannot go...!"

And that day holding each other's hands they made a promise to each other to be together in sorrow and joy and wipe away each other's tears may be it of happiness or sadness!
