Hux's POV

All of the troops were in perfectly ordered ranks & files. Everyone moved in perfect time, saluting together, remaining still & quiet.

"YOU'VE TRAINED FOR THIS, YOU'VE DEDICATED EVERYTHING YOU ARE TO THIS & IF THIS SHOULD FAIL, THEN THE ONLY ONE TO BLAME IS THE ONE WHO HAS NOT DEDICATED THEMSELVES TO THE ONE TRUE CAUSE!"

Hux felt color donning his pale neck, his hair becoming slightly disheveled with each passing remark. This was the only time he let any sort of passion be conveyed by him to anything. This was a worthy cause for such a trivial emotion.

"SALUTE THE CAUSE, DO NOT FAIL ME. DO NOT FAIL THE CAUSE YOU KNOW TO BE RIGHT."

Rallies always felt good. They exhausted any emotion he'd needed to be flushed.

He had dismissed everyone & was on his way to his quarters when he suddenly stopped in the empty corridor behind the stage.

"You're flustered Hux."

Ren? What interest does Ren have in my behavior after a rally?"

Kylo pressed him up against the wall with one hand.

What is this monster doing?

"Hux, you don't seem at all flustered now. How is that?"

You don't scare me.

Kylo began to probe his mind.

I've nothing he'd want.

"Not afraid of me? Oh, a monster? Untamed beast? I rarely meet anyone so bold."

Kylo release Hux.

Hux made his way back to his quarters.

Monster trying to dominate me? I'm hardly afraid of he who doesn't know how to control his emotions.

I wonder how he'd like to be dominated.
