New Years Eve

Jay's Pov
11:15
"Almost 2016!!" Ben shouted in the ball room where everyone in Aurodon was there celebrating the upcoming New Year. I honestly didn't know what the celebration was because in the isle, we didn't even celebrate ANY holidays.

So far, the party has been a blast. There was snacks and lots of candy that Carlos and I took over immediately.

I was walking over too our table, bringing a plate of chocolate covered fruits on a stick, where Mal and Ben. were talking ,with my dog loving friend bringing the same amount of things I had on my plate.

"You guys are, pigs!" Mal exclaimed looking at us disgusted.
"Says the girl who is a beast for strawberries. " Carlos retorted back. Ben and I gave a low chuckle, which earned a terrifying glare at all of us.

Once Ben saw the glare, he stopped and change the subject. Ben looked at his watch and nervously said,"Umm.. OK it is 11:36, I should start bringing the confetti and balloons."

"Wait! Where is Evie!?" Carlos asked,looking around the ball room hoping to see a glimpse of her. My heart gave alittle flutter,once I heard her name.

"Oh yeah, Evie is in her room, she wasn't in the mood to come since Doug broke up with her this morning." Mal said sadly.

"What!! Girl you never tell us nothing! " Carlos said offensively. Mal shrugged and went off with Ben.

My mind was so angry and upset. Why did Doug break up with her. He is so STUPID, she is a wonderful girl. This got me so mad, I marched to her dorm. Ignoring all the girls asking him to dance.

As I was marching, I saw a figure in the balcony windows just when I went right past. I went back to the balcony where the figure was standing looking at the stars.

I was just about to question the mysterious person, once I knew it was Evie since her shiny,sparkly,mini tiara was placed on the center of her head.

"Hey. " I said softly and concerned in my voice, heading towards her.

"Hey." She replied low and softly, still looking at the stars. My heart gave a tiny jump, noticing that we where the only ones out here in the cool stary night.

"So... I heard that you and Doug broke up.." There was a moment of silence.

No Pov
Jay turned his head to the blue princess as he notices she gets stiff and water was at the edge of her eye.

"He is a complete idiot of not knowing how amazing you are!" He continued.

He sees that the water in her eye, slowly went down her light colored cheek, and on to the base of the stone balcony where her hands layed.

"I-I am a ju-just that b-bad. A-am I not wa-wanted...not loved here." She choked out, having a second year fall out.

"What?" "Everywhere I am I can't find love. I feel like I am just used here.. Chad and then Doug." She breathed out,losing abit of the tension in her body.

There was another silence moment between the two.

Back in the Ballroom

"OK count down!"

With Jay and Evie
"I am never good enough.I guess this is a such nice way to start the New Year." Evie sniffed.
10...
She turned and was ready to walk away from him.

Jay grabbed her hand and spun her around so they can face. "DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT YOU ARE USELESS!" Jay bursted.
8...
"YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL,SMART, CARING, SWEET, AND DEFINITELY NOT USELESS! IF SOME IDIOT CAN'T SEE THAT ,HE MUST BE PER BLIND!" He yelled, holding his grip.
7...
Seeing Evie scared of his out burst, he let his gripped go on her hand and apologized.
6...
"Listen Evie.. You are such a wonderful girl, and I can't even explain how incredible you are... " Jay said softly.
5...
"Chad and Doug are the ones that are useless and need to change... not you!"
4...
"Evie... I-I lik-.. I have very strong feelings towards you... in a like~like way." Jay stuttered.
3...
There was a long awkward silence. Jay felt stupid saying his feelings to her and turned away.
2...
She grabbed his hand,unexpected to him, and intervened her fingers with his. "I love you,too!" She smiled.
1...
They looked into eachothers eyes and leaned closer together.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
There lips crashed together as there lips and tongues moved in sync, explore each other's mouth.

Fireworks shot up from a far distance and into the sky. Spreading colorful lights on the dark night sky.

They didn't even bother,look up and still where in a passionate make out session. They just know that it was a perfect way to start 2016.
