Best Gift

"So, Secret Santa works is that everyone pulls each out a piece of paper with someone's name. You can't tell no one who you got but then when you have your person you have to get them a gift. Then on Christmas we exchange gifts." Ben explained to all the villain kids.

When they all nodded understanding, Ben's activity that he thought was fun for them since they have never celebrated things like this back on the isle.

Ben had a hat with four pieces of paper folded, covering the unknowing name of each villain kids. Each of the them took a name and opened the tiny line of paper making sure not to show anyone else.

"So know that everyone has a name, you guys have three weeks before, Christmas." Ben gave a Mal a kiss on her forehead before he exit the room to a meeting.
Two weeks later
Evie's POV
I am freaking out, it has been already two weeks and I haven't even found Jay a present. I got him as the Santa thingy. There is nothing that he doesn't have from stealing. Even though we have turned good, he still takes a couple things here and that. He is working on it though.

I jumped on my bed from frustration. Mal was listening to her music on her bed and looked at me annoyed. " Evie, are you alright! Give it a rest, you can think of a gift for Jay later!"I send her a annoyed glare, Girl are you crazy.

" I can't think of it "later"! This red and green holiday is not until next week! Then lots of people are shopping so the mall will be all crowded with people and will be hard to find a gift." I cried. This is so frustrating, I want to find the perfect gift for Jay. I already had tears in my eye from anger.

Mal sighed and took off her earphones. She sat on my bed as I was still laying down. She gave me a look of concern.

"Evie,don't you think you are trying to hard. Why are you worried so much about this gift for Jay?When it was Carlos birthday,you immediately knew what to get him. Jay is like your best boy-friend and you should know what to get him!" Mal exclaimed at me.

"I don't know why I am trying too hard it's just.. it's just that I really hope that maybe the perfect gift will some how-" I got interrupted as I tried to explained by feelings.

" make him see you other more than a friend but as a-" She finished for me but stop, understanding why I was worried of what to get him . I started to turn red,but quickly cover my face with my hands and sit up.

"You guys have been really close and I do think he has the same feelings as you towards him. I can see the way he looks at you. Maybe you should tell him how you feel." Mal said to me,putting her hand on my shoulder for support.

"I don't know..." I said unsure. There was a moment of silence. "Well we have to go to bed. Have school tomorrow!" I laughed nervously, as I got up. She gave me a look that said, we will talk later but, nodded and told me goodnight and headed to her bed.

I sighed in relief as I got under my covers. I tried to get out of the conversation because it only sadden me more that Jay will not be mine to call and I kinda felt weird talking about my feelings. On the isle we didn't share the feelings, so it was still new for me. Mal turned off the light and again replied, "Goodnight."

Morning
I was applying my makeup as Mal was eating breakfast. We didn't say anything about last night. I was going to apply my lipstick when Mal said, " Don't worry. You guys have been friends on the isle as long as I can remember. It's still kinda funny how you met,tho" Mal gave a little giggle and continued," but I do think you should tell him how you feel."

I light bulb went on. Isle.Bestfriends. I know what to get him! I quickly put on my lipstick and gave Mal a hug before a exited the room.
Christmas.
No POV

Today was Christmas and the gang with Doug,and Audrey where celebrating the holiday. All the villain kids had there presents for there mysterious person, but Evie. Where is Evie? Everyone didn't know where Evie was. Jay ignored the flirty looks from Audrey and was looking for Evie.

In a bit they were all going to exchange gifts. He needed to look for Evie. As he was going to ask Ally if she knew where she was but got a text.

Evie💋
Hey meet me out in the field.

Jay quickly responded "OK" and headed out to the field. At first when he got there he didn't see her in sight. Then he saw her blue hair on the bleachers. He ran to her and saw her with a big red and green wrapping.

Jay sat beside her as she gave me a warm smile and handed him us gift.
He smiled and opened his present with one big rip. Under the wrapping paper was a big brown box. He gently open the top and gave a big smile as he saw what it was.

A leather jacket. He started to laugh as he took it out the box and examined it. Evie too, started to laugh. " I wanted to give it to you outside,where know one thinks it's a bad present. They just won't get it. "

Jay peaked again at the box and saw a shiny object. He put his leather jacket to the side and picked up the item. He observed it then started burst into laughter. "Haha...No way.. You kept this! " He laughed out.

Evie laughed too, " I didnt keep it, it was stuck in my hair because you throw it at me. Then when I was brushing my hair it fell out. And.. Well it was shiny and it reminded me as are friendship so I kept it." She chuckled out.

"So since we are exchanging gifts I am going to give you my gift." Jay took a small blue box with a glittery silver colored ribbon. He handed to her.

She carefully opened the box and gasped...a charm bracelet. Like the one she had on the isle. She fragility pick up the charm bracelet. She gave a small giggle, " It looks like the one you broke!" He gave a chuckle, " Yeah, I said sorry but this one as two extra charms. He grab the bracelet and showed her the two added Jens.

She smiled, it had a two pieces of a heart that had both of there name on a separate half of the heart.

"Awe thank you Jay. I love it so much!" She stood up to give him a hug.

"I like your gift but it wasn't my favorite." Evie felt her heart break
" because my favorite gift was that I still have you in my life." He whispered in her ear. She felt a blush creep up her neck.

She lifted her head up to meet eye contact but before she can find his eyes. His lips were crashed onto hers. She found herself moving her lips with his and the blush that crept up her neck,was know all over her cheeks.

The kiss became passionate every second. Jay moved his hand to her cheek as her hands were pulling back his brown hair. After a about a minute they departed, breathless.

They grabbed there gifts and went back to the Christmas party hands intervened with each others. There gifts might know not be much for others but it meant SO much because those things reminded them of there friendship.
