The Rise Of The Phoenix & The Downfall Of A Loved One.(Levin x Reader)

-Chapter 1-

Legends tell of The Phoenix a bird that was made out of fire and was a very strong mythical creature that controlled many humans and taught them how to use magicks.
The Phoenix controlled most kingdoms and was honoured by all of the humans and was treated like a true king even though it was a bird it had the mind of a knowledgeable monk who had been taught for years.

But not all humans respected the Phoenix and these people made organisations to kill the bird so that its light and wisdom would be put out and the light that once leads the people through the darkness would be put out sending people astray not knowing the true way to go...

Until a kingdom named Phoenix Drop had devoted their lives to protect the Phoenix and keep the balance in this world even.
They were successful in protecting the bird that was until the shadow lord had grown greedy for the powers and killed the bird but not only that, he also had removed the memories of their past in Phoenix Drop.

When the Shadow Lord had killed the bird he did not gain the powers of the bird but only set the bird free he released it from its cage.
And the bird grew mad engulfed in its own flames the bird was truly made of flames and soon enough the bird exploded fire spreads throughout the world burning everything to ashes and killing everyone who lives.

Years had passed and people known as 'The Divine Warriors' felt pity for this world and recreated it in their images and gave back those who died a second chance to live.
Yet they did not forget the day of the Phoenix going on a rampage so they have waited for years for the day to come of the Phoenix making its return but not in its own body... In a humans body to be exact someone who is capable to handle such power because if the chosen one is too weak there body shall be burnt into flames.

And finally the day has arrived for the queen of (K/n) has given birth to a baby girl by the name of (Y/n) was born with a mark of the Phoenix on her stomach.
It glowed a bright red and faded into black making the mark look like a tattoo, at first the king and queen were going to give up their baby until the Lord of Okhasis had given orders not to give her up but to use her as a weapon.

The king and queen understood these commands and hid (Y/n) away from other kingdoms to not know anything about them having a daughter.
But the Phoenix will not be used like this...
Days before the Phoenix hits maturity there shall be many natural disasters and when the Phoenix hits maturity it shall consume (Y/n) and use her body to destroy everything...
Humanity will no longer exist when the day comes, people make groups to try to find this girl and control her to use her as a weapon while others try to find her to kill her before any of this happens....

This is the story of the Phoenix...

Now for (Y/n)s story

A girl who was locked inside of the castle not being allowed to make contact with anyone outside of the castle aside from those who visit, she is now 14 and the only friend she has is Zane from Okhasis for he is the only one from Okhasis who visits her father to talk business with him.

But she knew that he had always threatened him to make (Y/n) marry him but the king cared for (Y/n) and would not do such a thing to his own daughter.
The king would always try to keep (Y/n) calm so that her powers would not show too much of what she is capable of.
Although she trains every day using her magicks she has become the best in it actually she is mostly good at fire magicks and telekinesis not just those but many more.

She was such a good girl...
Until the night came when an unknown messenger had climbed over the walls to report to (Y/n) that she is just a pawn in her fathers' games and is going to kill her tonight.

She was not sad... she was mad she walks out of her room and slams the door behind her, her (H/c) hair was now in flames her hair is blonde and orange and was nearly touching the ground.
Her (E/c) eyes are now a medium shade of red and as she walks down towards the throne room her stomps made the whole castle shake as her footprints are burnt into the ground.

She forms a fireball in her hand and throws it towards the huge wooden door causing it to burst open with her father standing there staring at (Y/n) with one of his highly trained assassins standing next to him he raises his hand in the air pointing at (Y/n) "Go" he says to the assassin.

The assassin sprints behind (Y/n) at the speed of light he was behind her sword he then swings his katana towards (Y/n) neck.
When the katana had made contact with her skin it burnt down into liquid (Y/n) looked behind her and with such speed she used her hand and grabbed his face burning off his mask and his face.

"So it is true... you were going to kill me..." She throws the assassin out through the window and looks back at her father who was full of fear for a flame started to form around her which soon enough shaped its way into a Phoenix.

Her father tried to run away but it was too late (Y/n) was very mad she mumbles
"Did you kill mother ASWEELL??!!" She yells out as she screamed in pain
The Phoenix had grown so big that it bursts through the roof she was no longer herself she could not control it she looked at her father who was inside of the flames of the Phoenix and was burning down into ashes.

She looked at her father as tears filled her eyes and then she heard a faint whisper
"I love you... I was only controlled by Zane to kill you... And your mother... I am so sorry..."
Before he was burnt into ashes he saw him smile through the pain and this only made things worse (Y/n) screamed out in sorrow and cried making the Phoenix stronger.
"AAAAHHH!!!" as soon as she yelled out again this caused the Phoenix to explode...
Crumbling the castle in the rocks making (Y/n) fall to her death and then she had watched as her fathers' ashes flew into the night sky this had caused her to cry a little bit more.

"I am sorry father..." As she had said this she did not notice that she had used her telekinesis powers to stop the rocks from falling and this had caused her to fall on every one of them making her fall harshly on them and continues to fall but while she was falling she saw that everywhere surrounding her kingdom was burnt to the ground everyone who lived here was burnt alive...

"Levin!" A feminine voice yelled out (Y/n) turns to her side and watches as a boy with blue eyes and blonde hair is sprinting towards (Y/n) and is jumping from rock to rock.
He then jumps towards (Y/n) and catches her bridal style in his arms and lands on one of the floating rocks and looks down into her eyes and watches as her tears heals her scratches on her face and drop down onto her ribs, healing every bit of her body Levin looks at her in amazement.

"I am Levin... How did you survive this?"
"Hi Levin... I am (Y/n) and I survived this because...I was the cause of this..." As she had said this she fainted
Levin watches her as she peacefully sleeps in his arms just then he notices that on her stomach was a symbol of a Phoenix.
"I better take her back to Phoenix Drop with us..." As he says this he walks on the floating stones downwards as a stairs.

From this day on Levin and (Y/n) had become best friends although Levin would always want to become more then friends but he was too shy to admit his feelings towards (Y/n).
But Levin had a little bit of love rivalry with Yip he had also fallen for (Y/n)....
But only Yip knows what she is capable of...

Levin pov

As me and (Y/n) both run together under the nights sky on the shore line I look back at her to see if her eyes are still closed to only catch myself staring at her (H/l) (H/c) hair flowing through the wind.
Her complexion glowing off of the moons rays as the soft breeze goes by I realized that I was just staring at her and looked back at the tree that Aphmau had planted for me and Malachi when we were younger.

Instead of running to the stairs to go on top of the tree we both went to the back of the tree to see a doorway covered in vines.
A small smile came across my face as I knew what I was going to do, I made (Y/n) wait outside for a few seconds as I swiped the vines to the side of the door and looked inside it was pretty dark so I lit a few torches the room was not that big there was only a bed and a chest in there.

I went back outside to grab (Y/n) wrist and walked her inside and sat her on my bed I then placed my hands over her eyes and then said.
"You ready to see the view?" I said as I looked at her nod and smile that I have loved for a few years
"Okay~" I hummed as I removed my hands away from her eyes and shifting over to the side and blowing out the torches so that the stars light can shine its way in.

"W-wow..." (Y/n) said as I sat down next to her and I then felt a small weight on my shoulder, I looked to my right to see (Y/n) was laying her head on my shoulder which made a light shade of pink appear on my face.

"To think... I missed out on such a view all because I was stuck inside of a castle..."
"Yeah..." I said as I wrapped my arm around her bringing her closer to me
"Hey Levin?"
"Hmmm? ~" I said as I looked down to her to make eye contact with her
"Can we travel the world together?"
"Of course! Do you even have to ask?" I said as I smiled at her
"O-oh... it's just that... with all of this darkness surrounding the world I thought you would rather be safe here..." She says frowning as she looked down.

I frowned as I turned myself to face her and lifted her chin up and covered her eyes
"With darkness there is light"
I said as I removed my hands from her eyes
"And I believe that light is you (Y/n)... so no matter where I go... as long as I am with you I will always feel safe just like how you told me before... How I always made you feel safe whenever I held you in my arms"

I hugged her
"I guess we are even then?" She says smiling as she held me back
"I guess so..." I smiled as I held her closer to me not wanting to let go
'When I first met you I didn't know you were going to be this important to me...'

Narrator:

As Levin stared at (Y/n) who was about to fall asleep he had just realized all that (Y/n) has done for him, aside from Alexis who is just there for him (Y/n) does much more she manages to take away the pain that he has ever felt ever since Aphmau left.

Levin managed to find the strength to rebuild his village with the help of (Y/n) at first Levin wanted to be just friends with (Y/n) he always tried to forget about her and try's to shut her out but...

'You can't ever be 'Just Friends' with someone you fell in love with'
