My first night was rough, but I managed to sleep enough and go to school. It was 7:18 in the morning and I got out of bed. Heading out the door to walk, I placed my earphones in and blasted My Chemical Romance. Reaching my destination at exactly 8:00, I made it just in time for final bell. My first class was math and that was my least favorite subject. All eyes were on me and I payed no attention to them. I scanned the room and found an empty seat next to a familiar face. It was the boy from the airport. Of all things in the world, he was here.
I sat down and he turned to look at me. I kept staring at my notebook, trying to concentrate on the teachers lecture.
"Hey, I'm surprised to see you again" he whispered poking me.
"That's a first" I muttered.
"My name is Leo" he said holding out his hand.
"I'm Karai... now please leave me alone" I snapped.
Awkwardness spread throughout the entire day for me. It turns out we have every class together. And even though he was kind of annoying, he was very intriguing to me.
