I felt the wind whip at my face as I rode my green bike to school.

My mom drove up next to me with car, interrupting the feeling of bliss.

"Seamus, are you going to go after school too?"

"Yeah. Are you okay with that mom?"

"Fine by me. But be sure to finish your studies too."

"Yeah." I nodded.

She drove away.

I arrived at the school, and not late this time.

I chained my bike in a small bike rack. Three other bike's were there too. Red, silver, and purple.

Once I took off my helmet. I immedietly raced to the mirror, fixing my hair up.

I ran behind a tree, sighing.

"Okay."

I walk to a small building. Where he was eating sandwhich.

He looked up and let out a small gasp before greeting me.

"Morning."

I walked a little closer.

"Good morning, James. You're really early this morning."

"You too Seamus. You went to the lake again right?"

I nodded.

"You're practicing hard." James smiled at me.

My cheeks grew warm.

"I wouldn't say that..." I trailed off

"Anyways. See you later James."

I ran off to class.

"Got it? It's time to begin your homework. Be sure to turn it in on Monday okay? And remember to talk it over with someone if you're stuck on a question."

At least the teacher gave us our homework right before lunchtime. I didn't want to do work in class. I was on the brink to insanity if I didn't get to eat.

"What about you Seamus?"

"Huh? Uhm." I didn't even know what they were talking about.

"Will you do your homework?"

"Um." I replied again.

"You haven't thought about it at all huh? The only thing on your mind is James right?"

"Shut up."

The bell rang, ending the conversationz

Lunch flew by quick.

I didn't get to finish my food.

My eyes focused in the distance.

I noticed my mom walking up behind me.

"Still not going well for you?"

"Mm. What's gotten into me?" I responed under my breath.

"It's better if you don't think about it too much. You'll be able to swim again in no time. I promise."

"Easy for you to say mom."

"What are you in such a rush for anyway Seamus?"

I looked down at the ground.

"At this rate. I won't be able to say it before graduation."

I leaned against a wall near the bike racks waiting for James.

I looked around the corner.

Heat rose up my cheeks as he walked towards his purple bike.

"Seamus you're on your way home too?"

I walked towards him nodding.

"Oh cool. Wanna bike home together?"

Honestly if I had a tail like a dog. It would be wagging back and forth for eternity.

I was sort of relieved that I'm not really dog though, otherwise I would look crazy.

Right from the start, James seemed a little different from the other boys.

I fell in love at first sight on that day in the first year of high school. And I really wanted to go to the same college as him...

So I studied hard, which was rare. And every single time I saw him, I fell more and more in love with him.

But it's also scary and painful yet everytime I see him I fell more and more.

"There you go again James. Buying the same drink again."

"It's really good though. But you're the picky one."

"Yeah." I replied.

"I'll be outside Seamus"

"Okay."

I paid for my drink and went outside to where our bikes were.

I paused for a second as I was walking up to him.

He was texting someone.

I felt a pang of jealousy in my chest.

But I countinued walking. He looked up and put away his phone.

"Welcome back." He chuckled.

Sometimes, James would be writing a text message, and everytime he did I always wished it was addressed to me.
