Chapter Eighteen:// Lysander may not be vampire King but her sure knows how to torture
I was beginning to think I made a big mistake in asking to stay with Lysander. Not only did it cause a full on blood bath, where Johnathan butchered one of his men for making a comment, very much like the one's that he would exchange with his son. But he called me a blood bag, and reminded me once again that I was the fragile one and that we were under his roof. But by making the King feel soft Lysander had some what magically convinced him to not to drink me dry. Looking back I can see the power behind reverse psychology and that when in the rare case that doesn't work, making someone feel like they are attacked to something as insignificant as a human can do just about anything. After the manipulation of his father we were whisked off to his room where I believe Jonathan was tempted to lock us in so he wouldn't have to see us again.
Lysander as a vampire was a different person from the one i had grown to love in the cabin. This of course was to be expected due to the monster that had ripped his soul apart, but by staying in the same room as him I was able to see the little differences that had taken place within him. Not only was he now a cocky asshole, he was silent, meticulous, and obsessed with sex. I knew from the moment I stepped into his room that I would have to sleep with him, for that was part of our deal, but I believed that we would just get it over with so I could begin to hate myself. Instead Lysander had decided to wait, not because he was tired, or wished to hold it over my head for eternity, but because he wanted to watch me squirm, always worried about when he would "claim me" and if he would kill me in the process. Did I mention that this Lysander wasn't evil in a purely physical way, but enjoyed mental torture?
Author's Note: Sorry there was no dialogue in this section, I just wanted to do something where she simply described the situation. I believe that this was the best way to explain what I wanted to happen. Please comment, vote, subscribe, or follow, I would love to know who is reading this and what you truly think. Thanks so much, ~Sheena
