Sorry I haven't updated in forever. The prompt is the photo and I'm sorry if this isn't really like the prompt.
"Luke..." The younger twin whined. "Can we go now?" Jai was getting impatient as Luke had promised to go to the park with him, two hours ago. "Give me one second Jai!" Luke snapped, a frown now covering his face. "You said that two hours ago! Do you even know the definition of the word second?" Jai sighed, getting even more frustrated by the minute, before continuing. "You promised me Luke and if you don't come with me in five minutes I am quitting the Janoskians!"
Jai didn't even have to look to know that Luke was rolling his eyes. "Cheer up Luke, is going on a walk with me really that bad? I even gave you four minutes and fifty-nine seconds more so you should be thanking me!" Luke just ignored Jai and slowly stood up, putting his phone in his pocket. "Let's go then!" He barked at Jai before storming out of the house being closely followed by him.
Luke wasn't really angry at Jai he was just in a grumpy mood and when Luke was in a grumpy mood he would take out his anger on anyone and anything that got in his way.
Jai, on the other hand, was just really confused why Luke hated everyone at the moment. He thought going to the park was a good idea, they had been very distant the last week. He thought maybe Luke would apologise to him and maybe they could have an actual conversation. Obviously not! Well if Luke wasn't going to say anything then neither would Jai.
The pair walked on the pathway for about 5 minutes in absolute silence before Jai got lonely and decided to say something. "So what are you up to?" He nervously murmured to Luke trying to get eye contact. "What do you think?" Luke mumbled, looking at the damp ground. Jai couldn't believe his brother right now - oh the irony! All the times Luke had boasted about being the older twin and here he was, acting like a toddler. This still didn't quench Jai's curiosity. "Luke?" He asked in the nicest tone he could muster. Luke, who was looking at the ground with a sour expression, didn't even acknowledge him. Jai just reminded himself that he was talking to someone who had the mental age of a four year old before continuing. "Why have you been in such a bad mood lately?"
This was all it took to set Luke off. His breathing became heavy and he saw red but instead of causing a fuss, like he would usually do, he just stomped off roughly in the direction of the park. Jai just sighed in annoyance knowing it was best to let Luke cool down. So he just continued slowly walking to the park.
Luke ran and ran and didn't stop until he reached the park. He stood there for a minute trying to catch his breath. Why did he have to have such a short temper? To be fair, Jai had asked for it. Well that's what he thought. Luke's feet began to get tired so he went over to a bench and sat down. He sat there and thought for a whole solid minute before he started to get bored. He knew he should wait for Jai so he got out his phone and scrolled through Tumblr and Twitter.
Jai had finally got to the park. He looked around. There was a family having a picnic on a blanket on the grass. A group of ten year-old girls were sitting on the top of the slide, giggling and just chatting. Then there was Luke. He was sitting isolated, on a park bench. Jai sighed before going over to one of the swings and sitting down on it. He sat there, swinging absentmindedly, while he tried to get his thoughts together.
After a while, Jai's phone vibrated so he reached in his pocket to check it. It turned out it was just a text from Beau. It read:
U and Luke can't B busy tomorrow we need to film a new vid. Any ideas??!!!
Jai cringed at the fact that Beau probably - no definitely - thought he was cool. That kid really made him chuckle sometimes. However, Jai still bothered to text him back:
Ok then. I'm free tomorrow but I'm not sure about Luke and sitting on my own in a park isn't giving me any ideas for the new video.
As soon as Jai was sure that the message had sent, he went on all his social medias and did nothing productive.
Meanwhile, Luke was still in a sour mood and was ignoring Jai. Well, sour was a bit of an understatement. Like he had said before, he wasn't angry at Jai. In fact, he didn't even know the cause of his anger. He normally never knew. All he knew was that he was extremely frustrated.
