My little pony : high school edition

Volley oops !!

After yesterday's incident in the cafeteria I decided to lay low .
By low I mean ... Well avoid rainbow dash at all costs .
I went to the locker room as fast as I could so I could change and get out .
Rainbow finally got here she was late again.. But not two seconds later a girl with fiery red hair with yellow streaks can in the girl had tan skin and wore a purple tank top and a leather jacket .
" Hey how's the little dike doing today?" She asked rainbow dash in a mean and condescending tone .
"Leave me alone sunset ! " she hissed she started to blush.
Sunset set her face into a sneer and crossed her arms .
" I don't think I'm going to , so who are you dating now slut ?" She asked .
"I said leave me ALONE!" She yelled pushing sunset shimmer,  causing her to stumble into the lockers behind her .
" That's enough Sunset Shimmer,"
Apple Jack spoke up and pulled Rainbow off of the girl .
" Oh , so now you have some ratty farm hick helping you aww that's so sweet!" I could tell this was going to escalate quickly .
" Stop it ," Rainbow said as she stormed out of the room and went into the gym .
" Now , Sunset... Imma give you to the count of three to get you and your leather wearin' behind outta here ," Apple Jack said in the most menacing tone she could muster .
Sunset quickly ran out of the locker room so she wouldn't have to deal with AJ ... At least she knew when to stop.
As soon as I got my clothes on I went to the gym and sat on my spot .
I looked over at Rainbow Dash who was sitting next to me,she sneered and looked away.
I sighed heavily and felt tears threaten to sting my eyes.
'Why did I have to look ... And why did I have to crash into her ?" I think to myself.
I feel a single tear fall from my eye and roll down my cheek , I quickly wick the tear from my cheek and glance at Rainbow to make sure she didn't see me cry.
Thank god ... She didn't see!
After the rest of the class gets here he explains the rules of volleyball, he talks about rotations , points , and bumping , setting, and serving.
He had Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack demonstrate how to play .
"IRON WILL SAYS APPLEJACK AND RAINBOW DASH ARE TEAM CAPTAINS!" He walks over and sits in his chair .
Apple Jack was picking first of course.
"Pinkie Pie," she said loudly.
Pinkie leans into me and whispers ,
"Man .. I wanted Dashie !"
I looked at her ..... Dashie ?
She hopped over to AJ and stood next to her .
Rainbow Dash yelled ,
"Cloud chaser ! "
Cloud chaser hurried next to rainbows side.
"Bon Bon !"
"Flitter !"
"Twilight !"
Woah - wait I was picked ? Me .... So early on in the choices ...
I quickly ran over to AJ's side and smiled at her .
"Thanks Applejack!" I say in an excited whisper.
She looks back and returns the smile ,
"No problem sugar cube , that's what best friends are for !"
Woah ! Best friends .... Already ?
I grin like an idiot and look over at rainbow dash who was still deciding.
There were only two ponies left .... Fluttershy, and Octavia .... Neither of them liked sports .
"Octavia !" She shouted after a moment of consideration.. Octavia quickly walked over .
"Last but certainly not least , Fluttershy!" Applejack said happily.
Fluttershy slowly walked over and smiled at the ground , she seemed happy yet upset .
"What's wrong , " I whisper to the shy pink haired girl.
"I-I'll tell you at lunch , okay?" She whispers back .
Apple Jack  pipes up , "We gonna play this game or what ?" She questions RD
"Yeah , but let's make this game a little more interesting ,"she said .
"How do you suppose we do that ?"AJ asked her opponent.
Rainbow grins smugly "the loser buys the winner a cookie," she states .
Applejack considered the bet.
"It's a deal ,"
We walked to our places and Applejack served first , she aimed it directly at rainbow dash who set the the ball back to our side . Fluttershy tried to bump it back but the ball hit the gym floor too soon .
Finally we caught up point by point until it was nineteen against nineteen.
Rainbow served the ball right in my direction, I jumped to set the ball and ....
Slam !
I felt a cold sharp sting in my face as I fell to the floor .
"YEAH,WE WON !" Rainbow yelled completely ignoring the fact I was on the ground bleeding and crying because of her .
Soon the whole class was gathered around me asking If I was okay , I wasn't .
"Step aside everybody," Applejack demanded.
"Coach Iron will were taking Twilight to the office," pinkie called to the sleeping teacher .. He awoke from his slumber and gave a small nod .
Together Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie carried me to the office and decided to stay with me in my dorm for the rest of the day, at lunch they brought me chicken noodle soup and a gift basket from them and Fluttershy.
Since I was in pain meds It didn't take long for me to fall asleep .
