"Hello? Can you hear me? I really need to talk to you. How am I suppose to tell you how I feel if you're not listening to me?"

Alexis heard a click on the other end of the phone and she then knew he hung up.

She was having doubts about their relationship ever since she came to realize that he might be cheating, not only that but with her best friend Neveah. The schools biggest whore.

But she accepted her when no one else did, now she regrets it.

Alexis knew something was going on between them when they started hanging out with each other and started ignoring her.

First it was broken eye contacts, now it was an out right disappearance. She almost had the urge to contact the police maybe even amber alert.

But she never thought her bestfriend or boyfriend would do such a thing to hurt her after everything they been through.

Her phone rang interrupting her useless thoughts. There was no reason to continue these one sided mind games.

She picked up seeing that he was calling back.

She took a deep breath before answering. "Hello?"

"Oh I'm sorry I hung up by mistake."

"But seriously we need to talk."

"Bout what?"

"so...what are we?"

"What do you mean?"

"Are we friends-"

"No more than that. Why did you ask that question?"

" I mean we haven't been talking its like I don't exists anymore."

"I just been busy that's all."

The way he spoke. It sounded unsure.

"Ok just wanted to know where we stand."

"I have to go I'll call you later?"

"Yeah sure bye."

"Bye."

She hung up the phone and instantly couldn't stop replaying their conversation. Just thinking about it makes her want to cry, so she stopped thinking altogether before it got too deep in her head.

So to get her mind off the subject, Alexis called Dominick over her "Bestfriend" the only person that she can actually trust.

Sitting by her bed, she desperately waited for the past 20 minutes when the doorbell finally rang.

Alexis quickly ran down the stairs thinking in her head "That was quick." She opened the door but only to her dismay to find out that it was only the mailman.

She signed off the package she received  and closed the door disappointed in herself for getting her hopes high.

Just as she was about to head back up the steps she heard a familiar ringtone. It was a mix off of Dominick's Golden album. She reopened the door to find him on his phone getting out his brand new car.

She waited on the front porch while he continued his phone call.

When he hung up he looked up and gave her a big grin.

"You called?"

Alexis gave a short chuckle before responding, "Yes I did now lets go inside".

She went in and he followed.

As she walked in the kitchen she realized she needed to text her mom and tell her she's having company over before she gets suspious about the car in the front yard when she gets home.

she opened the fridge feeling a desire for a chicken sandwich. As she looked around for ingredients  she felt hands slowly touch her lower back.

Alexis jumped up startled, hitting her head on the refrigerator door in the process.

"Ouch what the hell..." She looked up at a smirking Dominick desperately trying to hold in his laughter. She rubbed her bruised head pissed off at his childish acts.

"I was just having fun relax."

He put up his hands in defeat knowing Alexis was no one to mess with. Expecially considering whats she's been going though right now.

She just pushed him away the thought of food completely wiped from her mind. They headed back to the living room and sat on the comfy worn out couch.

"So whats up doll?" Dominick rubbed the back of his head constantly checking his phone as well. Doll? That stupid nickname he gave her back in seventh grade. It was just a teaser back then but as the years progressed it just sorta stuck. She hated being called that but hearing it from his lips gave her this weird sensation to keep being called that.

Only by him.

"Honestly," She started, "I just needed someone to talk to. I been under tons of pressure and you're the only person that would understand me."

"I mean it's nothing serious, it's just that I need some emotional support."

Dominick sat down his phone, leaned over and held up her face and said ever so seductively. "Maybe I can help with that."

Out of surprise, she shrieked and pushed him away. "Dominick!"

He sat back down laughing his ass off at his little joke. "Relax, I didn't mean anything by it."

She looked away out of embarrassment but eventually her frown turned into a large grin.
