Chapter 25: Plasma Bullet

It has been 3 months since my birthday passed, and I have been working for V-corp thanks to Carlos for giving me a job there. I get paid enough money to do what I want pretty much now, I even opened up a bank account to save up for a car I would want to buy by December. Daniela and I have been doing great, but since a little incident happened on my birthday I have to keep her and Catalina separated. Even on February 12 she asked me if I wanted to go see the new superhero movie called DeadPool, I have heard of him a bit ago and started researching who he was and why was he a icon like Spider-Man. But I realized that I had his healing factor ability and I liked him instantly, he was my second favorite superhero by the time we watched the movie and it was so amazing. It was so good that when me and her were kissing I was still keeping my eye on the movie. It is March 22nd and there has been no big crimes from anyone, I am glad too because I am a useless superhero by this point. But the worst thing is that since I was a low time hero in the beginning and the rankings came out when I had no powers, no one remembered who I was. All these new heroes with some basic powers or some without some powers have been praised to be some of the greats, even a new speedster by the name of Mach is in the S rankings. I was nowhere to be seen on those rankings which me me mad but also depressed that I had no proof that I was the best. I just fight purse snatchers and bullies now, thanks to those dang scientists. The worst part was when the superhero group I created with Weebly, Icer Stasis, Blind Breeze, and The Synth all voted for me to not be apart of the team anymore. Their main reason was that I was to vulnerable at the moment and that they found someone who could be just as helpful as me, his name was Civil-Man and he had a special world war 1 armor that was made of titanium. And as the days get longer and longer, one day  I was just sitting in the living room of Don's house with Daniela by my side, hugging me while watching some cartoons. But then something I have never seen before popped on the tv, the news interrupted every station to warn us of a new threat destroying Denver at the moment. The news reporter was yelling over the destruction of the background as a blue floating guy with electricity was destroying the buildings with single punches as she said," Shaun, what we see here is a new villain squad who are destroying the city as we know it! They have been screaming for Plasma Bullet to come out to fight them like men for the past hour! Where is our green hero now when we need him most? Plasma Bullet my name is Venus Chang, and as a personal fan of yours ever since the bus incident in the lake, We need you, I need you!" I shut off the tv as I get up to pour myself a glass of orange juice. Daniela sits up and reminds me that she was wearing my large Spider-man shirt with small shorts. She walks over to me by the fridge and tucks her head in to my neck as she hugs my  left arm. I say,"Daniela Ronquillo, I love you so much." She starts kissing my neck and replies,"Alize I love you too, Promise me you won't ever leave." I smile and kiss her forehead as I say,"I promise." She then drags me back to the couch in a kissing mood and starts kissing me non stop. she then takes off my shirt and starts kissing my neck and rubbing my chest with her hands. As butterflies rush into both our stomachs she accidentally hits her elbow on the remote and turns on the tv again showing a couple of the new heroes including  my old team. They were facing that blue guy and a guy that looks like a human fish made of yellow and green metal with a tail calling himself The Bionic Monkey.
