The Beginning Of Ticciwork (Part 1)

11: boxes the cat?

*toby wakes up still under his covers with the laptop he was reading with still open. Toby was suprized that he fell sleep and didn't wake up with a nightmare. He looks at the computer screen and there was the picture of clockwork from her creepypasta, he looks at it for a few seconds and gets up. Everyone was still alseep. He decides to go sit on the couch and continue to read creepypastas. As he plopped down on the couch he accidentally clicked the picture of clockwork, witch had a link to more pictures and fan-art, toby keeps scrolling...and scrolling through the pictures. He was distracted and didn't noticed that masky was up and had walked up behind him, looking at what toby was doing*
Masky: .......watcha doin?
*toby jumps and closes the laptop*
Toby: I- I was just looking at creepypasta pictures...
Masky: don't lie
Toby: I was....
Masky: yeah, fan art of clockwork..... you know how fanart can be toby...
Toby: I was just looking at the good fan art!
Masky: good is an opinion...I don't know what you mean by good..
Toby: ....you know what I meant...
Masky: *laughs* yeah I know what you mean, toby the "I do nothing bad ever"....besides killing my father and a few other inocent people and joining the evil service know as proxy.
Toby: yep, pretty much
Masky: ....ok then...*ruffles tobys hair very roughly then walks away back to the proxy room door*
Masky: you going to go check on her?
*befor toby could answer he had already walked back into the room.
Toby walks to clockworks door and opens it, she was curled up in her covers with her knifes still in hand, toby noticed carvings everywere that said "your time is up". He turned around after closeing the door and saw slendy behind him*
Toby: h-hi...*tic*
Slendy: you need to do a early search around the river, people might be fishing and found some pages, report back later and don't die!
Toby: ok....I promise..
Slendy: good proxy, I'll take you guys to get "real" food later, but anything that you can swallow is technically edible....but remember, only IF you dont die.
Toby: yeah yeah *he walks outside and walks through the woods for a while eventually reaching a river/creek, completely abandoned exept the sound of the swoosh of the water. He continues to scout around the river like slender said, occasionally seeing litter from up stream in the town stuck on tree branches that had fellen in the water. Then randomly he hears a distant meow, it was up ahead so he kept walking. The meowing got louder and more distressed sounding, it had seemed he had reached the source of the meow but he couldn't find it, he was beginning to think that it was some wierd monster playing a prank on him to eat him. He went closer to the river and it was like an airhorn meow now, he found a small box stuck on a rock against the current of the river. He's heard about a evil killer that lived in a box in ditches and kileld who got close so he wasn't sure about this....but then again it didn't meow in the story. So he got a stick and brought the box close enough for arms reach without it being swept away, he picked it up and it felt half full of water, he opened the box and saw a typical orange tabby cat almost dead and drowned.*
Toby: cat?
*the cat didn't have the strength to fight back and just stayed limp as Toby picked up the cat, it was relatively young. He holds the cat like a baby while petting it, soaking his jacket*
Toby: I'm going to keep you, even if slendy don't let me. after all, you are just a animal. *he pets the cat, no response*
Toby: I'm going to name you boxes.. because I found you in a box...
*he starts walking back to the mansion still carying the cat and makeing his jacket more soggy. Boxes was warming up as Toby carried the kitty. He hides the cat in the back of his hood when he walks back into the mansion*
Slendy: I don't see any blood on you so I guess you didn't kill anyone?....but did you fall in the river or something?
Toby: no
Slendy: then how did your cloths get all wet?
Toby: ....oh, uh..I-I fell down in a puddle beside the river....
Slendy: ok then, don't fall in a random deep cave, those are here *teleports*
Toby: can't believe that worked...
*clockwork comes up behind toby and pokes his neck were boxes was hidden away, boxes meows*
Clock: ....did you just meow at me?...
*Toby turns around embarrassed for some reason he didn't know*
Toby: uh...n-no......*tic*
Clock: then what meowed? A ghost?
Toby: ...shhh, I have to show you something...you can't tell anyone, ok?
Clock: secrets yes!
Toby: let's go to your room
Clock: um... why my room?
Toby: the others wouldn't want to bust into your room and die
Clock: good point, they would die
*when they are in clock's room*
Toby: ready to know the thing I found?
Clock: okay...
*toby puts down his hood and gets boxes from around his neck like a scarf*
Toby: his name is boxes and I found him in a box in the river...he's almost dead... *pets boxes*
Clock: can I finish the job? *holds up a knife*
Toby: no!
Clock: ok, fine....so the faceless guy just let you keep him?
Toby: uhhh....he doesn't exactly know about boxes yet...

(Boxes is from a creepypasta called "pen pal", he was the cat that liked going under the kids house in the story)
