The Beginning Of Ticciwork (Part 1)

12: clockwork knows

*Toby lies there, not being able to sleep because of thoughts instead of nightmares now. He begins chewing on his bandaged up hands out of boredom and the fact that it's became a bad habit by now. He hears something scratching around somewere in the room, boxes was still alseep. Then suddenly hoody jumps up from sleep realy fast and yells*
Toby: what?
*Hoodie looks around panting, still startled*
Hoodie: rake is here.....he invaded my dream and said "I am the rake"...
Toby: ha! I was awake, he c-can't do that to me *tic*
Hoodie: you also don't get sleep, unless you die.
Toby: oh, I came up with a idea how I can get some sleep now...
Hoody: how?
Toby: it's a long story....
Hoody: I won't be going back to sleep..
Toby: Erm....I don't want to tell you, you'll tell on me...
Hoody: it's dieing over and over again isn't it?
Toby: ......no.....
Hoody: then do the thing so you can sleep
Toby: it's not as simple as you think it is....
Hoody: tell me so I can know!
*toby tries changing the subject*
Toby: how is masky sleeping through us talking?
Hoody: don't switch the subject!...and masky took sleeping pills
Toby: you will understand when I get around to it, hoody
Hoody: so like a week? You can't go much more without sleep, I've seen you trying to stay awake. It's sad.
*Toby realizes he will have to use his idea soon, unless he only wants few minute naps as all the sleep he would get from boxes. He moves boxes and curls up,hugging his legs. He looked very zoned out, stareing at no particular thing just thinking*
Hoody: you ok?
*Toby doesn't even look over.
Hoody gets down from his top bunk and goes over to toby and sits down beside him*
Hoody: ..hey....sorry about the teasing earlyer...*puts his hand on tobys shoulder* ok, you don't have to tell me your secret idea or whatever if you don't want...
*Toby was thinking deeper then he had ever done before, chaseing one thought after another, rapidly switching and forgetting the other right after he thought of it. He didn't say anything to hoody, toby was far to busy in his mind to say anything*
Hoody: um...Toby? You ok?
*Toby rips the bandages off his hands with his teeth and was chewing on his hand again, he cracks his neck with a twitch*
Hoody: toby your going to get a infection! *rips his hand from his mouth* dont chew on your hands! *Toby was disrupted from his thoughts by this, he looks up in suprize to see hoody beside him, he didn't remember him moveing over*
Hoody: hi, were you off in wonder land? Welcome back
Toby: go back to your bed
Hoody: you look like you need to be comforted...and tomarrow is a "no kill day" slendy said we are free for tomorrow. We might even go to the store and get real food!
Toby: I hope there isn't only waffles left like the last every single time...
Hoody: you like them don't you?
Toby: yes, I love waffles but they are all I ever get t-to eat anymore
Hoody: I'll steal some popcorn and we can watch all the haunted VHS tapes and things me and masky have recorded from when we first became proxies, how about that?
Toby: I've s-seen that a thousand times because you two
Hoody: what haven't you seen?
Toby: .....much of your face, that's what! *toby reaches out realy fast and rips off hoodys mask. This makes hoodys hair all messed up*
Hoody: you've seen my face before...
Toby: not much, mostly masky's *trys to put on the mask, it's sideways and wrinkled up*
Hoody: you don't know how to put on that mask *rips it off of tobys face and messes up Toby's more than it was before.
Clock had heard the scream and it has been quiet for a while so she was walking around to see if someone had been killed, she stopped at the proxy room because he heard talking*
Toby: ....do you think s-slendy will let clockwork come with us to the store?
Hoody: mabey, he seems to not hate her being around................hey toby?.....
Toby: what?
Hoody: do you accualy like her?
Toby: *blushes* uh....I-I feel uncomfortable answering that, hoody
Hoody: just answer, I promise I won't tell anyone, not even masky....he's a terrible secret keeper...
Toby:*face turns brighter pink*uhh...
Hoody: tell me, please? I could help you with her
Toby: .......I'm not saying a-anything... *tic*
Hoody: yep. You do like her, I can tell
Toby: how?!
Hoody: you wouldn't have a problem with saying no....
*toby blushes more and looks away*
Toby: .......ok.....I-I do......I do l-like her...
*behind the door clock blushes as she heard toby say that, he accualy did like her, she wasn't sure how she felt after this, if she should accept this and like him that way back or just don't care what he does like before*
Hoody: awwwww!! I knew it!
Toby: shhh, not so loud...
Hoody: oh, ok.... it will be our secret little bro *ruffles Toby's hair very roughly*
Toby: what was that for?
Hoody: *gets up* just for fun, you want anything while I'm up? *walks twards the door*
*clockwork hears hoody going twards the door so she runs back into her room and shuts the door quietly*
Toby: how about some waffles?
Hoody: we don't have any waffles,or real food at all....we are going to the store tomarrow
Toby: we need to bring jeff and all them to help steal food, so tell them if they are up
Hoody: ....you takeing clock with us?
Toby: yeah duh, wouldn't just leave her here
Hoody: that's the perfect time to talk to her.........about how you feel?
Toby: n-no! We just met! *tic*
Hoody: yeah but I can tell she likes you to, did you see her today when you ran into her at the doorway?
Toby: yeah but.....I'm not going to t-tell her yet...I'll give it a while so it's not so wierd...
Hoody: sure, don't listen to my advice
Toby: yeah I won't, it's terrible
Hoody: *opens the door* I was just helping you with this,Toby.....isn't she your first crush?
Toby: yes!, I don't feel like talking to you about it!
Hoody: well you got grumpy fast *walks out of the proxy room*
Toby: ..you didn't shut the door again!
*he gets up and closes the door again*

(most of the creepypastas sleep in daytime because they kill at night, so they wake up at sun set instead of rise)

*after a few minutes of just laying there chewing on his hands and petting boxes Toby gets up to check on clockwork. He walks to her door and cracks it open some to look in. Clock was standing infront of the door*
Clock: oh...uh, hi.........toby....*waves shyly*
Toby: sorry, I thought you were alseep...
Clock: why did you want to catch me sleeping?
Toby: *opens the door the rest of the way* I-I was just checking on you
Clock: I'm fine, I won't get killed, you think I'm weak?
Toby: oh!-n-no, I don't think your weak! it's just that things are so much stronger than humans here and-
Clock: I was just teasing.....
Toby: oh...sorry but I couldn't tell.... wait, teasing??
Clock: why are you acting so strange?
*she already knew the answer*
Toby: I-I don't know......I guess I just don't want to be killed by you....
Clock: so you think I'm impressive?
Toby: *blushes*something like that.....
Clock: .....um..........so you just going to stand here in my room oooor?.....
Toby: ..oh, you want to go to the store with us? You can steal anything you want
Clock: sure I guess
Toby: so what you want to do while we wait for slendy to take us?
Clock: could we go kill?
Toby: I can't without his permission....
Clock: oh, but I can?
Toby: yeah but you will have to go to the town all by yourself a-and back, and I won't be able to save you if you get caught
Clock: who says I would get caught?
Toby: ......well, they are still looking for you out there....
Clock: oh...
Toby: you want to go t-to the roof and hang out there? it's pretty at sunset....
Clock: since I cant go kill, sure
*they go to the top floors window and climb out, toby offers to help clockwork up but she climbs up without his help*
Toby: *sits down beside the chimney* facing the light* s-see? *points at the last rays of sunlight happily*
*clockwork comes up and sits beside him*
Clock: it's not that great....
Toby: very yellow
Clock: your goggles, Toby
Toby: oh *lifts his goggles up* woah I'm not used to e-everything not a yellow color.... hey! the sun set has pink t-too!
Clock: heh.... yeah, there's usualy pink.. did you forget or something?
Toby:.... I can't r-remember much....
*he sets his hands down by his sides sadly*
Clock: *looks over at him* you ok?
Toby: it's n-none of your concern
Clock: ....you changed moods real quick.... bipolar much?
*Toby looks away*
Clock: oh... well I should have known this sooner so I could be prepared... if I'm going to be friends with you
Toby: *looks back over excitedly* realy?? We're going to be friends??
Clock: yeah..... I can be a strong enemy, if you want that
Toby: no, no, no I'll accept your friendship...*mumbles* though.... lately I've- *they get inturupted by hoodie calling them down to go*
Hoodie: GUYS IT'S TIME TO GO!
*clockwork hissed at the word "time"*
*they start to climb down, on their way clockwork slipped on a patch of lose shingles, toby saved her by stepping on her hand and she grabbed onto his shoe but it was a steep part of the roof so she kept slipping. Tobys shoe came lose and she slipped. She tried using her knife to stab into the roof but it only pulled up more shingles. Toby yelled her name as she slipped off the roof.... she landed on slender man.*
Slender: *picks her up with a tenticle* what? IT'S LIKE RAINING CREEPYPASTAS NOW?
Clock: o-oh..... hai....
*if slenderman had a face, it would be a dissapointed one right about now... one that says "are you kidding me?"*
*Slender stares in silence at her for a moment*
Toby: slend-
*before he could finish, his shoe fell off the roof and onto slenders head*
Toby: ....s-sorry....
*Hoodie and masky are trying not to laugh*
*Slender drops clockwork and looks up at toby as he climbs down*
Slender: I'm tempted to not let you humans go get food and let you starve...
Toby: no no no no! I'm s-sorry it's my fault! I invited her to the roof and d-didn't grab her fast enough!..... Remember, she's my responsibility to take care of.... so punish m-me if your going to punish anyone.... I can go without food...
Slender: ....*studies toby for a second* ...loyal..... too loyal.... dont become loyal to the wrong person, toby.
Toby: but I'm n-not.... I'm just obeying your order to watch over her and keep her as my responsibility....
*clock looks over at toby from the ground as he looks up at slender in silence*
*Slender thinks for a moment if he had chosen the wright thing to say*
Slender: ok.... dont let her get in trouble again... or she's gone.
Toby: y-yes sir....
Hoodie: *whispers to masky* Toby told off slender with his own command!
Masky: *whispers back* if toby does this again he's going to get some sort of punishment...
*Jeff walks out of the mansion*
Jeff: LET'S GO SAVE SOME PEOPLE! FROM THEIR LIVES!
Clock: oh great... it's comeing along...
Slender: no bickering along the way, you children.
