George took me back to my place to pack. I was super giddy about my decision. It felt exciting not knowing if this would be a giant disaster or the best thing to ever happen in my life.

"Matty..." I froze. His tall, dark figure was standing beside the entryway to the building, a fag hanging from his mouth. A crooked smile emerged on his face.

"Hey, you two." He smiled. "How was your date?" I could tell he was holding back his seething jealousy.

"It was...fine. We went to the football game." I smiled awkwardly, walking inside with the two of them. George kept his distance. "What are you doing here?" I asked as we walked up the stairs to my floor.

"I thought I'd pop on by to see how it all went...and when to expect your decision." His smile was weak. He didn't know how far he could go before crossing the line. The problem was that George and I already did, or were planning to.

We headed inside my place and took seats in the living area. I wasn't sure where to go next. I didn't know if telling Matty would be a good decision.

"Probably not for another week or so." I could barely look Matty in the eye. He could only nod silently.I had never felt so confused in my entire life. I was torn between two loves and I wasn't sure which one was actually love or which one was just lust.

"Isn't the game still going on?" Matty asked out of nowhere. I began blushing and noticed George rolling his eyes.

"Things are about to change, Matty, okay?" George whined to his friend. "We're going inside, packing (Y/N)'s bags, and we're headed...away...for a while." Matty looked as though he didn't believe what was coming out of George's mouth.

"Away?" I could sense the outrage in Matty's voice. "This wasn't part of the contract!"

"(Y/N)'s decision is obviously me." George stated proudly. My mind was in jumbles. I just wanted this drama to end.

"I can't do this!" I shouted, standing up. The two of them looked up at me with great fear. "This is so obnoxious! We are adults, we should handle this like adults!"

"Well...you do need to make a decision." Matty mumbled. I flashed him an angry look.

"I know that, Matty. But it doesn't need to be fulfilled by a contract or by running away from our problems." I looked at the two of them. "I need some time. I need you both to leave me alone." I sighed.

Without another word the both of them left. I had never felt so lonely but I knew sleeping on it would bring me to the right decision.
