Luke Hemming's Pov
Yelling. Yelling. Yelling. It's all I hear. My oldest brother, Jack, is trying to convince me not to go. But I have to. I have to go out and face the real world myself whether he likes it or not.
You see, my parents had me when they were in their 50s. My parents both died 6 hours apart from each other when I was 6. Jack and my 2nd eldest brother, Ben, raised me, but mostly Jack. Jack never let me out of his sight. My parents wanted him to raise me and to never give up on me, and he took that promise and kept it. I never got to play at the park when I was young because it was too "dangerous". I never got to have a girlfriend because they might "break my heart".
I never got to learn how to ride a bike or how to go around in a bus. I've had my chauffeur take me around. I've tried to escape but I couldn't. But now that I'm 19, I'm ready togo out in the real world independently. Ben is on board with me going to California to study but Jack is haven't a hard time on it. He has never let me leave his side, but now it's time.
I currently live in Sydney, Australia. I have blonde hair and blue eyes. My style is button up shirts, shorts, and suspenders. People made fun of my outfit before, especially my hair styles, they call it "momma's boy hair style". It's parted to the left, but I like it. I grew up with it so might as well like it.
I have my bags ready in the car and my boarding pass in my hand as long with my pink panther. Yes, pink panther. I've loved pink panther ever since I was little. It has kept me company ever since. As I say goodbye to my big mansion of a house, I open the door, and see all the butlers and maids lined up waiting for my presence. While on the right side of me, I see none other than Jack and Ben fighting. Ben is convincing him to let me go, but Jack thinks it's a bad idea. All they've been doing is bickering and its really annoying me and I can't take it anymore.
"STOP!" I yelled. They both stop yelling and look at me. "Jack, I know that you don't want me to go, but I can't stay here forever. I'm growing up, I need to go out and explore not stay locked up in a house. Thank you for raising me and keeping that promise with mum and dad, but I need to do this. Ben thank you for being on my side. I should really be going now. I don't want to miss my flight."
As I turned around, the butlers and maids bowed.
"Good Luck, Mr. Luke Hemmings!" They chanted over and over as I walked down the front yard. The chauffeur opened the door for me and waited for me to get in. I turned around and gave them a wave goodbye, but instead they gave me a hug. As we said our goodbyes, I got in the car. The car drove off and I finally felt free.
5 minutes into the drive, I heard something. I turn around and see Jack running after the car.
"Speed up." I told the driver. He sped up until we couldn't see him anymore. I finally relaxed. Until the car came to a sudden stop. I looked up and saw Jack in front of the car smirking.
*At the airport*
"I can't believe you came." I whined to Jack. "I can do this. Why don't you believe in me."
"You've never done this before, I'm going with you over there to check everything out. I want to see if you can find your way around. Now stay here, I'm going to go check you in. Don't wander around." Jack pointed out.
I rolled my eyes and slumped down into my seat at the terminal. I hear a sweet, beautiful voice coming from behind me. I've never heard a voice as sweet as hers before. I turned around to see her face but her hair was covering. She was reading a book next to an older looking man. Probably her father. Her voice was so hypnotizing and so-
"Come on, we need to go." Jack interrupted my thoughts and grabbed my carry ons. As I was following Jack, I turned around to see her face but she turned. I wanted to know who she was and meet her but I guess I never will.
Third Person Pov
Luke was hypnotized at the mysterious girls voice, he didn't pay attention to where he was going. Jack brought back his attention, but little did he know. He dropped his boarding pass.
Mystery Girl Pov
"Thank you for reading to me, madam." The polite older man said.
"My pleasure. My mother used to read this to me when I was younger." I smiled remembering all the memories of my childhood. The old man thanked me one more time before getting to board the plane.
I got up and grabbed my stuff. As I was walking, I spotted a white piece of paper on the floor. I went to it and grabbed it. I read it and noticed it was someones boarding pass. What kind of idiot would just drop this. Does he even know its missing from his pockets. Idiot.
I walked to the service lady and told her someone dropped their boarding pass. Before I handed it, I asked for a sticky note. I thanked her for it and wrote in big words:
DUMBASS
I stuck it on the boarding pass and gave it to the lady. I turned around rolling my eyes thinking about the idiot that lost his boarding pass.
Luke's Pov
We were about to board the plane, until something happened.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU LOST YOUR BOARDING TICKET!" Jack exclaimed.
"Attention attention! Luke Hemmings, please report to the service center. We have your boarding pass. I repeat, Luke Hemmings please report to the service center. We have your boarding pass. Thank you." The service lady announced on the mic.
Jack looked at me with his arms crossed while tapping his foot as I blushed looking down embarrassed.
We walked to the service center and introduced myself. She asked for my ID. When she saw evidence that it was mine, she handed me my pass. On the pass, there was a sticky note attached. I read it and in big letters it said: DUMBASS
Jack looked at me, "Well you are!" We grabbed our carry ons and boarded the plane.
