My first collab! Thank you @ninjaanimecat for asking me, of all people, to do an art collab!
So we did this thing where both of us would draw the same character and tag the other person. So it's a little different from a regular collab (since we couldn't actually draw together) and a little different from an art trade. So thank you again for choosing me to do this with you!!Also, it just so happens that we decided to both draw Rin Okumura from Blue Exorcist. If you have read my other book, "An Otaku's Sketchbook", you'll know that Rin was one of my first drawings! It's only been seven months, but I think I have come a long way since! Now that I look back, I realize that I really SUCKED seven months ago, but all of you guys still voted and told me I was amazing. Probably another couple months from now I'll think the same thing about my art now, and hopefully you'll still stay with me on my journey! But either way, it gives me a great sense of accomplishment when my two drawings are put together and I can see myself improving. This way I can tell myself that my practice and hard work is making me a better artist even if I can't see it immediately. This really helped since I had just had a whole month where I felt that drawing was hard and feeling like I should stop or take a break from it. Now I am back and "arting" at full force!
Another shoutout and thanks to @ninjaanimecat for letting me have this wonderful experience! So please go check out her art book which has super awesome stuff!
Ciao! (Everyone, please help me think of a new way to end. I was just informed that "Ciao" can mean "I am your slave". As you can see, something's not quite write there... Leave your suggestions in the comments!)
Don't forget to vote!
