I woke up from bed. I put on my.. Caleb's sweatshirt and walked into mommy and daddy's room.
"Hey Annie" Daddy says "how did you sleep sweaty?" Mommy continues for him. "Okay. Mr Zebra helped tho." I said. "What's in Caleb's Hope chest? Can I look?" "Sure."
I ran my fingers across the carved Caleb in the wood. I smile. I open it with a key that has an angel on it. I smile as I see pictures of me and Caleb as young people in a purple frame with pink hearts. Daddy kneels behind me and puts his hand on my shoulders. I feel a tear go down my check. I wipe it away, and smile.
"When well it stop hurting daddy?"
"I don't know sweaty but we'll make it stop as soon a we can."
