(Y.N) woke up before the rest of his new team, so he got ready for class. He still had at least four hours before class started, so he went for a walk. Yang woke up to see him leave and she got curious enough to follow him. She got ready as quickly as she could and started to follow him. (Y.N) was aware of Yang following him, but he was to lazy to do anything about it. (Y.N) walked around the court hard for about thirty minutes, at this point he got really bored, so he decided to see if Yang was still following him. As (Y.N) turned around he caught a glimpse of yellow hide behind a tree.
"Yang, I know you're there, just come out already." he said. Yang walked out from behind her tree and approached (Y.N).
"How did you notice me, I was as quiet as a ninja?" she asked.
"Yang we are the only two up, and you're really loud."
"Hey, I am not." she said in a playfully annoyed tone.
"So anyway, why are you following me?" he asked
"I was curious why you left so early, so I followed you." she said
"Well, I'm just going for a walk to clear my head. It's been a crazy few days for me." (Y.N)) responded. Yang was trying to think of a question to keep the conversation going, but she got distracted by (Y.N). She didn't even know why, there was nothing special about him, or was there.
"Yang, are you okay?" he asked.
Yang not realizing she had been staring at him for an extended period of time, was caught off guard by the question.
"What? Oh yeah, I'm fine." she responded. As she did the bell rang so they walked to class together in an awkward silence.
As they went through classes that day, Yang kept staring at him. She did it so much that Blake asked.
"Yang, why have you been staring at (Y.N) all day?" she asked in concern of her friend.
"I don't know." she answered. This concerned Blake and the rest of the team. (Y.N) was walking behind them talking to a guy who introduced himself as Jaune Arc.
"This class is really boring (Y.N), try staying awake through the whole thing." Jaune said.
"Don't listen to him, it's not that bad of a class. All the teacher does is brag about his life as a huntsman." the guy who introduced himself as Lie Ren replied. As they all entered the class, (Y.N) say with his team. The teacher started the lecture.
"As most of you know, my name is Professor Port. The only reason I say that is because it appears we have a new student. Why don't you come up here and introduce yourself." the professor said.
"Oh gee." he muttered under his breath. He walked up to the front of the class next to the professor.
"Let's start the evaluation." the professor said.
"First, what is your name?"the professor asked
"(Y.N)." he replied
"Where are you from?" the professor asked
"I don't know." (Y.N) stated
"If a rogue Beowulf comes and tries to kill you what do you do?"
"Kill it." he stated bluntly.
"What about a boarbatusk?" the professor asked.
"Kill it." he said again
"Show me." the professor asks, as he releases a boarbatusk at him. (Y.N) avoids the first attack by jumping over it, knowing that this would be it's first attack from his time in the wilderness. He then pulls out his weapon and stabs the animal in a weak point in its armor, successfully killing it.
"Impressive." the professor states. "Never before have I seen such a quick take down of Grimm. You may now have a seat." he says.
"Thank you." (Y.N) says as he goes to his seat. As he sat down he noticed Yang was asleep.
"She looks cute when she sleeps." (Y.N) thought to himself. "Woah, what am I thinking she's my teammate, but she is very pretty and she's very funny. She has been staring at me all day, I wonder if she feels the same way I do." But before (Y.N) could finish his thought the bell rang releasing everyone from class.
