(Y.N) and the rest of team RWBY was heading to their next class when they were stopped by Ozpin in the hallway.
"(Y.N), miss Long come with me to my office." he said
"Great," thought Yang as she reluctantly followed Ozpin and (Y.N) to the office.
"So," (Y.N) started," What do you need uncle?"
"I need you two to do a mission for me." he said bluntly. "As you know there is a substantial amount of grim at mountain Glenn."
"Yeah me and the rest of the team went there with professor Oobleck. It was a train wreck." Yang said. (Y.N) let out a snicker at the joke, he had already heard about what had happened at mountain Glenn.
"But what do you need us to do?" (Y.N) asked.
"I need you to go to the remains of the white fang base and find anything that has importance to them that they may have left behind." Ozpin said.
"Is that it?" (Y.N) asked.
"That is all, will you do it?" Ozpin asked.
"I've got nothing better to do, so why not." (Y.N) said
"I'm in." Yang replied.
"Alright then, take these." Ozpin said as he handed them each a folder.
"What's this?" (Y.N) asked
"It's a list of places that are safe to make a camp at, you'll need it depending on how long you stay."
"Okay, when do we leave?" Yang asked .
"First thing in the morning." Ozpin replied. "So bring only what you need."
They both headed back to their dorm to pack. The rest of the team was already their and wondered what they were doing. Yang explained what the mission was and said
"it's just an excuse to get out of class."
They all went to bed. (Y.N) hopped on the floor but Yang got mad at him so they shared her bed again.
That night (Y.N) had a nightmare that woke Yang.
"No," he muttered "stop... don't hurt her" he started tossing and turning vigorously until he woke up panting.
"(Y.N), are you alright?" Yang asked
"I'm fine." (Y.N) lied, " just go back to bed."
They both went back to bed but (Y.N) was still having the nightmare wen he fell back asleep.
They both got up at five AM and went to go find Ozpin. After five minutes of walking they found him in the court yard.
"Do you have everything you need?" Ozpin asked.
"I hope so." yang said
"Well then, good luck." Ozpin said.
And with that they set off for mountain Glenn, the failed expansion of vale.
As the helicopter dropped them off They quickly made a camp at one of the places in the folder.
"Well we should probably get searching for anything important"(Y.N) said.
"Do you know what we're looking for?" yang asked
"No idea, just anything of importance." (Y.N) replied
They searched for a couple of hours by then they got hungry.
"Do you have any food?" yang asked
"Yeah," (Y.N) said tossing her a power bar. Just as she started to eat a group of white fang members jumped them.
They started fighting it out. yang managed to take down a couple by she was overpowered. (Y.N) saw yang in trouble and he jumped in kicking he first guy off of her, then he sliced up another guy. After they were off her he helped her up. They then fought the rest of them but realizing they were outnumbered they ran back to camp.
As they got there (Y.N) noticed something on Yang's leg.
"Oh my gosh Yang, you're bleeding!"(Y.N) said
"I'm fine" yang said coughing up blood in the process.
"Yang you are bleeding heavily from your leg, you're not fine."(Y.N) said
"I'm a little dizzy..." yang slurred out before passing out.
Yang woke up to find her leg had been bandaged up. She also noticed (Y.N) passed out on her stomach.
"Uh (Y.N)?" yang said as she poked him.
"Huh," (Y.N) said as he woke up. "Oh my gosh you're all right!" (Y.N) exclaimed as he hugged yang. Realizing the awkwardness he let her go.
"Why did you stop?" she asked
"What?" he replied
"Please don't let go (y.n), I need you." yang said. So (y.n) crawled next to her and They cuddled for a couple of hours until falling asleep.
